After visiting London, Birmingham, Delhi, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, have generated investment worth Rs 54550 crores : Uttarakhand CM
The Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is in Delhi today after returning from his enthusiastic tour of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Prior to this foreign visit of his he was in United Kingdom in connection with mobilising investors to invest in Uttarakhand in various industrial projects as well as in the sectors of pharmaceuticals, Health, Education, Science and Technology, Agriculture, real estate, infrastructure n development. In London and other parts of United Kingdom, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, apart from participating in a hectic conference of 80 to 100 corporate honchos and investors also took part in several road shows generating about more than twenty thousand crores. He also invited the United Kingdom investors, foreign and of Indian origin to join him at the Uttarakhand Global Investors summit to be held in Dehradun in the second week of December to which several industrialists gave their positive consent.
After returning to Delhi from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the jubilant chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami addressed a press conference at Uttarakhand Sadan today disclosing that his efforts after visiting London, Birmingham, Delhi, Dubai and Abu Dhabi and holding number of road shows including deliberating with various investors and corporate honchos there, he was able to successfully generate the investment of Rs. 54,540 crores till now.
The chief minister said that he will be visiting some more countries as well as States and would be conversing with the investors to enthuse them to invest in Uttarakhand. The chief minister seemed extremely enthusiastic and optimistic of generating about 2 lakh fifty thousand crores by the time the Investors summit happens in Uttarakhand.
Lauding his Dubai and Abu Dhabi visit he also expressed his happiness about the magnificent Hindu temple being constructed there to be inaugurated by the prime minister.
He expressed immense optimism towards the success of the Uttarakhand global investors summit being held in December saying that good number of investors from abroad has shown tremendous interest to come here and invest, finding grand opportunities and comfortable environment to grow and progress in the near future.
