AAP takes decision to appoint 5000 sanitation workers in MCD as pledged during elections
The Aam Admi Party which is in majority in Delhi Municipal Corporation has given a magnificent Deewali gift to over five thousand families of the lowest ebb of the society by passing a, proposal in MCD house to appoint over 5000 sanitation workers in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi
The Aam Admi Party leader and CM Delhi Arvind Kejrival has given commitment during elections of MCD to Delhi electorates that if the party secures majority in Municipal Corporation it will take a decision to appoint 5000 sanitation workers to give employment to the poor and down trodden family members and also keeping Delhi clean .
The election results of MCD were declared on 7 December, 2022 and AAP had secured majority on 134 seats out of total 250.
The national convenor of AAP and, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal made this announcement saying that AAP has taken a decision to appoint 5000 sweepers/ sanitation workers in MCD thus fulfilling its commitment given during the MCD elections a year ago.
In a message on social media, platform X, earlier twitter Delhi CM wrote : Today, Aam Aadmi Party has passed the proposal to appoint 5000 sanitation workers in Delhi Municipal Corporation. We fulfilled what we promised. Many congratulations to all the confirmed sweepers and their families for this wonderful gift received on Diwali. Serve the people of Delhi wholeheartedly, together we will make Delhi a clean and beautiful city.
It may be recalled that in Punjab too the AAP has fulfilled promises regarding free electricity upto 300 units a month, employment opportunities to youth and monthly spend to women in every family etc.
