A US postgraduate stabs his industrialist grandfather 7O times and mother 4 times in a fit of anger
A United States post graduate hailing from a millionaire family in a fit of anger brutally killed his industrialist grandfather seventy three times who lead the 460 crores Veljan Group of Companies dealing in hydraulics, ship building, industrial applications and energy. He also stabbed his mother four times who came to intervene during the altercation.
This tragic incident took place in Hyderabad when the US returned grandson of an industrialist while arguing with him stabbed him gruesomely 70 times over the wealth and property dispute blaming his grandfather for always , since childhood treating him differently and ignoring him but favouring others.
This brutal crime was committed in a fit of anger,under the influence of drugs.
According to the latest news, the deceased V.Janardjan Rao was the chairman and managing director of Veljan Group.
His US postgraduate grandson alongwith his mother had visited the house of his industrialist grandfather.
When Kirthi, , the grandson culprit came to know during interaction with his grandfather that he has transferred Rs four crores to Teja, his cousin, son of his second daughter he became angry and in the fit of rage accusing his grandfather for ignoring him since childhood stabbed him with the knife multiple times, brought from home, intentionally.
It is also being given to understand that grandfather industrialist, the deceased, has recently appointed the elder daughter’s son Shrikrishna as the director of the company.
These alleged favours led Kirthi assume that he is being sidelined deliberately and the argument turned into heated exchanges with the former losing his control killing his grandfather with seventy three stabbings leading to his brutal death.
After the commission of the crime, Kirthi left the scene but was later on arrested and is currently behind bars.
Though the police is investigation the case deeply there are also reports that the culprit was under the influence of drugs.
This tragic incident has send shock waves all around as the deceased industrialist CMD of Veljan Group was a philanthropist too having donated tremendously to Elluru hospital and Thirumala Thirupati Dewastham Trust.
What is tragic in this case is that the culprit son also stabbed his mother four times when she went to intervene in this altercation.
