A section of the angered crowd raise go back slogans against Rajesh Tikaith at 3, Kamraj Marg n BJP leader castigates Priyanka Gandhi in his tweet

A section of the people gathered in large numbers outside the residence of late CDS General Bipin Rawat, 3 Kamraj Marg, today to pay their tributes, raised “Rakesh Tikath Go Back and “Rakesh Tikaith ko baahar karo”, slogans expressing their anger and annoyance for allowing him to enter the venue to pay tributes to the late CDS Bipin Rawat and his wife who had died on Thursday in a deadly MI 17 V5 Army helicopter crash at Nil Giri mountains in Cunoor, Tamilnadu along with eleven army officers n soldiers accompanying the general n his wife to Wellington in Southern Indian state.

A section of the infuriated people, many of them young, were raising slogans against farmer leader and BKU chief Rakesh Tikaith arguing with Delhi Police and paramilitary force personnel as to why has he been allowed to enter the venue whereas they have been stopped despite waiting since morning.

There was huge rush at the venue to pay tributes to their reverential late CDS Rawat and his wife with heavy barricades fixed to maintain law and order due to heavy rush of people and the VIPs.

The Union home minister Anit Shah, Defence minister Rajnath Singh, state defence minister Ajay Bhatt, Army chief General Manoj Mukund Navarane, chiefs of Air Force, Navy, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, top officers of three Defence Forces, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, national BJP chief J. P. Nadda, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Uttarakhand Congress leader n former CM Harish Rawat, MPs Tirath Singh Rawat, Ajay Tamata, union ministers, leaders from various political parties, MPs, Congress n BJP office bearers etc had visited 3 Kamraj Marg to pay their tributes to the CDS amid tight security.

The venue was open for everyone from 11 AM to 2 PM but in view of the increasing rush of curious onlookers and people, the police has to exercise restraint restricting some people due to security reasons.

This angered those who couldn’t get an opportunity to enter the residence and pay tributes.

When the farmers leader along with his followers arrived at the venue to pay tributes, the police made way to allow him inside.

This enraged a section of the people who raised Rakesh Tikaith Muradabad, Rakesh Tikaith go back and Tikaith ko bahar karo slogans compelling police to close the entry having a busy time arguing and pacifying the enraged crowd.

It may be recalled that Rakesh Tikaith had been holding a 12 month old cum agitation of the farmers at Ghazipur Delhi border which has been lifted just a day ago with tents still being wrapped up after the Union Government has accepted their demands for revoking the three farm laws and enactment a law on MSP including withdrawal of all the cases with regard to the farmers agitation etc.

Meanwhile, in another development a BJP leader raised yet another controversy when the saffron party’s IT cell Incharge Anit Malviya in a tweet posting a video of Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi’s vedio dancing with the tribal women in Goa said that when the entire nation was mourning and steeped in sadness on the tragic demise of general Rawat being cremated, she was dancing away in Goa n when 26/11 happened Rahul Gandhi was partying till wee hours of morning.

However, while Priyanka was dancing modestly with tribal women in a traditional folk song of Lord Krishna, Rahul Gandhi was meeting the anguished family of late CDS Bipin Rawat after laying a wreath at his coffin paying tributes with Congress leader Harish Rawat and others.

The tweet of Amit Malviya has raised a serious controversy at a time when the entire nation is in sorrowful mode after the sad denise of general CDS Rawat and hus wife with 11 other officers n soldiers of Indian Army in chopper crash in Tamilnadu.
