PM to unveil the legendary freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s statue at India Gate on 23 rd January on his 125 th birth anniversary

On the ocassion of the 125 th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose that falls on 23 rd January, the prime minister Narendra Modi announced to celebrate this day as Parakram Diwas Or Day of Valour to honour the immense contribution of legendary freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose in the freedom of India from Colonial Britishers. The prime minister in his series of tweets announced : At the time when the entire nation is marking the 125 th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, I am glad to share that his grand statue, made of granite, will be installed at India Gate. This, will be a symbol of India’s indebtedness to him tweeted PM while paying his, richest tributes to legendary freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose.

He added that till the grand statue of Netaji Bose is completed, a hologram statue of his would be present at the same place and thag he would unveil the hologram statue on 23 rd January, Netaji’dbirth anniversary.

Prime minister Modi indirectly hinting at the Nehru Gandhi family led earlier Congress government without naming them further tweeted that after independence there had been new construction for selected few families. But today the nation is keeping on back burner the narrow ( squeezed) thinking, is construction new pride sites, giving them glorious touch. This is our government which has constructed Baba Saheb memorial tweeted the PMO quoting PM Narendra Modi. In another tweet it said :

This is our government which constructed APJ Abdul Kalam memorial at Rameshwaram. Similarly, the memorials of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Shyamji Krishna Verma were glorified. Not only this but in order to bring to the forefront the pride of Tribal society’s history we are constructing Tribal museums at the pan India level tweeted prime minister Narendra Modi.

The glorified statue of legendary freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose will be erected inside the canopy of King George 5 th constructed by the British.
