Brave heart martyred in Nagaland, Hawaldar Pradeep Thapa of Gurkha Rifles given final adieu today
Thousands of eyes were were in tears today when the coffin of martyred braveheart Pradeep Thapa, Havaldar of 1/3 Gorkha Rifles honourable draped in national tri colour reached in an Army truck at his residence at Guchupani, Anarwala, Dehradun with people raising hail braveheart Pradeep Thapa, slogans in tears n trauma. The shocked family of the martyred soldier were in uncontrollable tears and shrieks after the dead body of havaldar Pradeep Thapa reached the door of his house. He was brought by Indian Army officers and soldiers of 1/3 Gurkha Rifles after the martyrdom of Hawaldaar Pradeep Thapa at Nagaland on Friday while in the line of duty.
The chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami, minister Ganesh Joshi and several other dignitaries reached his Anarwala, Dehradun house and paid their floral tributes with a heavy heart. The chief minister reached martyr Thapa’s house in the morning along with cabinet minister Ganesh Joshi. The chief minister condoled the bereaved family and assured them of every possible help saying that the government will always be with them ready to extend all support. He prayed to Almighty to render peace to the pious departed soul and give place at His pious feet. The chief minister said: the supreme sacrifice of Hawaldar Pradeep Thapa will never be forgotten and go in the annals, of history. Meanwhile, the former CM of Uttarakhand and chairman of the state election committee Harish Rawat expressed his deepest condolences on the martyrdom of Hawaldaar Thapa n tweeted : The coffin of a braveheart of mother India Hawaldaar Pradeep Thapa of 1/3 Gurkha Rifles who gave supreme sacrifice for this nation has arrived at Anarvala, Guchupanu, Dehradun. I express my deepest condolences and tributes to martyr Pradeep Thapaji and the bereaved family. I pray to Almighty to give place to the pious, soul at His feet and strength to the anguished family to bear this irreparable loss.
The Gurkha Rifle gave him the gun salutes and braveheart martyr Hawaldaar Pradeep Thapa was finally consigned to flames at Haridwar amit tears in the eyes of one and all.
