Harish Rawat declared himself as next Uttarakhand CM though via request to Lord Kedar, diplomatically

Though the Congress high command has not officially declared anyone as the chief minister candidate of Uttarakhand in case the party gets a majority in the state assembly elections, the former chief minister Harish Rawat has already declared himself as the next CM, sending clear cut signals to his immediate opponents within the Congress party, like the opposition leader Pritam Singh though indirectly.

Considered to be a “political Ghaak” in Uttarakhand’s politics expert in political manipulations and manoeuvrability of all kinds, septuagenarian Harish Rawat has very strategically sidelined his major n only dissident leader within Congress party by replacing Pritam Singh with his protege Ganesh Godiyal, making the former leader of the opposition.

When asked by the press reporters as to what has he asked from lord Shiva in Kedarnath during his recent obeisance to Kedar Baba , Harish Rawat replied that not only had he asked for the victory of Congress party at the hustings in 2022 so that the pending works during his tenure from 2014 to 2017 which could be fulfilled could be completed, he has also sought blessings to become the chief minister of Uttarakhand, sending unambiguous signals to his opponents that no one except him would be the next CM Uttarakhand if Congress wins the next election with sizeable majority in the Himalayan state.

In a post post in Facebook and Twitter former Congress CM Harish Rawat wrote in Hindi : The journalists friends are asking me as to what I have sought from Lord Kedarnathji ? Their curiosity was that I must had asked blessings for the victory of Congress. It’s correct actually. I had sought blessings for the victory but simultaneously also prayed to Him that from 2014 to 2017 whatever, I did for my state as CM was relentless. Please make me the chief minister of Uttarakhand to enable me work more efficiently than before to complete the unfulfilled tasks, this is what I have sought blessings for in addition to the above wrote Harish Rawat.

He said this Asshirvaad ( blessing) is enough that if I am not able to complete my left out works then I may continue to be the CM of Uttarakhand this is what I had asked for, said over ambitious veteran Congress leader Harish Rawat.

Referring to the dance of his on Kedarnath premises holding a trishul and damru in his hand chanting Bum Bum bhole hailing Lord Shiva, Harish Rawat declared himself as a political dancer saying that I am a political dancer being fond of dancing as and when I get an opportunity to perform.

My every dance will be dedicated to Lord Shiva said Rawat. Recounting his outstanding achievements from school management committee to Block pramuck to various senior positions in Congress party to central minister and CM n finally as general secretary of the party he patted his own back saying my performance as General Secretary was highly lauded by the party high command.

This time is my examination and I would consider myself passed only if I am able to perform better as the CM more efficiently than my earlier tenure from 2014 to 2017.

If this doesn’t work I am thankful to the God and fully satisfied for whatever he has given me till date said Rawat in his note . He finally concluded saying that now I do not want the position of CM for the sake of the position but to serve the people with outstanding abilities to set top standards n outstanding parameters of service to the people and overall development of the state.

This clearcut declaration of Harish Rawat as the next CM of Uttarakhand though indirectly via his prayer to Lord Kedar has infact unnerved his immediate opponents in Congress party with two blocks clearly visible within the Uttarakhand Congress.
