Chef Keshav Negi sent to 14 days judicial custody and Lovkush Bajaj to two days more police remand

The main accused in the Malviya Nagar massive fire blaze that claimed twenty one lives have been send to two days more police remand today.

The main accused in the case, the owner of the hotel Lovkesh Bajaj has been sent to police remand for two more days while the innocent Chef Kesar Singh Negi sent to fourteen days judicial custody as the police was not interested in his further remand.

Kesar Singh Negi was produced before the Saket Court today.

The case of Chef Keshav Singh Negi was being argued by senior counsels advocates Deepak Prakash, J.S.Rawat and Kuldeep Parihar in the Saket Court.

All the three advocates put their point of view forth to convince the judge but since it has yet not been decided whether this is a session trial which is only liable to give bail, Mr. Keshav was sent to fourteen days judicial custody.

Meanwhile as per the latest reports the Delhi Police charged him under five serious criminal charges, including culpable homicide not amounting to murder, causing grievous hurt, and intentionally or recklessly endangering life, all of which carry long-term penalties.

The court sentenced him to 14 days in jail.

In fact, speaking the truth to the media and the public proved costly for 65-year-old cook Kesar Singh Negi said BJP leader Jagdish Mamgain who added that since Keshav Singh Negi candidly spoke the truth on @4pmnews_network and @ndtvindia about the irregularities in 26 rooms, the illegal use of the basement, and the fire caused by an explosion of electrical equipment he was trapped. When the hotel owner and the administration were exposed, the innocent, poor cook Keshav Singh Negi was made a criminal, charged with serious criminal offences and made a ‘scapegoat’ to save the MCD, police officers and hotel owners.

Delhi Police said that he ran away after closing the door and the light switch as soon as the fire broke out, whereas he informed the manager and on the manager’s instructions, he came out battling the smoke who was treated by the doctor. This point was emphatically raised before the judge in the Saket Court by senior advicates Deepak Prakash, J.S.Rawat and Kuldeep Parihar, advocates in Supreme Court.

He spoke to the 4 PM reporter at the spot at around 10:30 PM, almost two hours after the fire broke out, after the injured and the dead were taken away in several ambulances. Then how can Delhi Police say that he ran away as soon as the fire broke out?

According to Jagdish Mamgain, the senior BJP leader and viciferous Uttarakhand movement activist and author of several books saud that
It is crystal clear that an innocent cook has been made a criminal by making fabricated allegations to save the criminals and weaken their case.

Meanwhile, there is tremendous resentment among the Uttarakhandis living in Delhi, NCR and even Uttarakhand for trapping an innocent chef in a criminal case with no fault of his. The Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had spoken to the Delhi chief minister yesterday but if no avail. The National media incharge of BJP and Garhwal MP Anil Baluni also spoke to the Delhi police commissioner but nothing happened and Negi is inside the Tihar Prisons.

The former Delhi CM and Haridwar MP Tryvendra Rawat too have assured of relief to the family but nothing happened, but his advocates Jaswant Rawat and Kuldeep Parihar are very much on the case making a strong appeal to get him out in bail after 14 days.

The Congress chief of Uttarakhand Ganesh Godiyal also expressed his solidarity and said that they will fight for him.

Even the union minister of state and Almora MP proved futile and so was the MP of Nainital Mr. Ajay Bhatt of no use say the outraged people of Uttarakhand living in Delhi.

Meanwhile according to Advocates J.S.Rawat and Kuldeep Parihar they are preparing a strong case for seeking bail for Keshav Singh after his fourteen days judicial custody ends.
