The Indian Youth Congress today protested, observing a “Maun Vrat”, demanding that the accused of Lakhimpur farmer massacre be stringently punished at the earliest and sacking of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra.
The President of Indian Youth Congress Srinivas BV said that for the first time in the history, it is happening that on one hand the car of the son of the Minister of State for Home intentionally and pre strategically goes out while trampling the farmers and the ruling party of the country is not with them but standing against the agitating farmers fir their just cause.

The farmer massacre in Lakhimpur Kheeri has reminded us of the British rule he added and further said that this has been done under a well-planned conspiracy, so the struggling farmers for their just cause are terrorised.

The Indian Youth Congress chief Srinivas BV also said that Congress will continue to fight for justice for every section of the country. The loud voice raised by the Kisan Nyay rally in Banaras, Uttar Pradesh is giving a message to every section he added and urged the farmers not to panic as the Congress party is solidly standing behind them. Blaming the prime minister for not hearing to the genuine vows of the agitating farmers for the last several months he said that the prime minister can visit every corner of the world, can go to America, can go to Japan, can tour countries spending so much of public exchequers money but can’t even spare 10 minutes to talk to our ann dataas. accusing BJP for standing with the killers he also said that by supporting the accused and the killer, the BJP has made it clear that it is a big enemy of the farmers. The BJP government should stop influencing the justice process he added. Sriniwas NV said that now the country will not tolerate injustice to the farmers anymore and counter the ruling party n it’s leadership strongly and with immense determination.

He also said that the involvement of the son of the Minister of State for Home Affairs in the Lakhimpur Kheri massacre is in front of everyone. It is certain that as long as the Minister of State for Home remains to his post, he can affect the justice of the farmers. That is why today we are demanding that the Minister of State for Home should be sacked immediately.
According to the national media in charge of IYC Rahul Rao several Youth Congress Youth workers including it’s national General Secretary and Delhi In-charge Bhaiya Pawar, Secretary Mukesh Kumar, Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress President Ranvijay Singh Lochav and many youth congress workers were in the MAIN VRAT PROTEST in New Delhi today.
