FORMER BJP CABINET MINISTER AND LAW MAKER ARVIND PANDEY SAYS THAT JOURNALIST HEM BHATT HAS BEEN ARRESTED BECAUSE HE Interviewed HIM A DAY BEFORE

The former cabinet minister of Uttarakhand and lawmaker of the state Arvind Pandey has strongly condemned the Uttarakhand police’s dictatorial attitude in allegedly dragging and thrashing the fearless journalist and taking him along forcibly early morning from his house including allegedly harrassing his wife and son who are badly terrified and insecure. In a video posted in social media he catagorically said rather accused that the fearless and vociferous journalist has been given such a shabby treatment and taking him along from his house, with no whereabout of him because the journalist had interviewed him earlier ( recently). The police is meant for the people’s safeguard said Arvind Pandey and condemned this dictatorial attitude saying that they should rather join private service than being in police service. He said due to the few inefficient and arrogant policemen the honest and efficient officers are defamed in the state police. He took strong exception of this Uttarakhand police attitude and said that in case the traumatised wife of the distressed journalist whose wife’s phone has also been taken away and family including child harrassed and journalist beaten suffers a cardiac arrest the entire responsibilty will be of Uttarakhand police. The former cabinet minister Arvind Pandey is in BJP and is not in good terms with the chief minister and the party top brass in the state reveal sources. He appealed to the police rather demanded immediate release of the journalist Hem Bhatt whereever he is and bring him safe and sound to his house failing which he will not sit quite and resort to action.
