A speeding Thar heading for Nainital falls in an 80 metres deep gorge with several critically injured and one dead

A tragic heartwrenching accident has occured on Nainital Bgawali road at Oines area where a speeding Mahindra Thar heading towards Nainital all of asudden plunged into eighty metres deep Gorge after not being controlled by its driver. As soon as they straddle c accident occured there was panic all around with police, paramedics and s sister management team informed immediately. According to the latest news the accident occurred on the Bhawali road, where the incident erupted in outcry.
Police said the incident occurred around 1 p.m. in the Pines area on the Nainital-Bhowali road when a vehicle (a Mahindra Thar) heading towards Nainital suddenly lost control and fell 80 feet below the road into a ravine. They said that upon receiving information, police and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams arrived at the scene and carried out relief and rescue operations commenced forthwith.
One young man has reportedly died in this accident and several critically injured.
According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle was moving at a high speed and suddenly lost control on the road. The vehicle fell straight into the ditch, leaving the occupants seriously injured. Locals immediately launched a rescue operation and informed the police and administration.
Upon receiving the information, teams from the police, SDRF, and local administration reached the spot and a rescue operation was launched. The injured were pulled out of the ditch and admitted to nearby hospitals. The condition of some is said to be critical.
Preliminary investigations indicate overspeeding and carelessness on mountain roads as the causes of the accident. The administration has appealed to tourists to exercise caution, maintain speed control, and obey daily rules while traveling in mountainous areas.
