A renowned academician Gopal Krishan primarily from Uttarakhand, retired as principal , breathed his last in Delhi.

The uncle of the former chief medical officer NDMC hospital , Moti Bagh, New Delh, a highly revered figure , PGT chemistry, retired Principal and acdemician Gopal Krishan ji breathed his last in Delhi the other day.

A renowned acamedician having imparted education to several students who today are in top positions across spectrum was a father figure and a great teacher to students who loved and respected him immensely among his fraternity.

A leading personality among the academicians of Uttarakhand as well, Shri Gopal Krishan under extreme challenging circumstances and poverty did his MSC in Chemistry in 1958 from prestigious DSB college, Nainital when people hardly pursued such a high level of education.

But he did achieved this level by the dint of his intelligence, outstanding hard work, dedication and determination.

He retired as a principal popular among his students and fraternity for integrity, affection, aggable nature and reputation.

He sincerely and dedicatedly also worked for nine years as Chemical examinar in Central Control laboratory, PUSA , New Delhi.

After this significant assignment he joined as the PGT chemistry in Delhi government finally rendering his best services and retiring as principal.

In addition to his academic contribution throughout his life Gopal Krishan sir was a great social worker as well who was keenly associated as the president of
Dr B R Ambedkar high school working society after his retirement giving his best to the Dr.Ambedkar’s values and ethical principles to be spread among the new generation and subsequently imbibed by them. He was thereafter living in Haldwani.

He breathed his last few days ago. His passing away at the age of ninety four speaks of his consciousness towards his health and being a disciplined academician.

IRSE 1989 batch was managing director of Benglor’s metro and daughter Professor Minister in a Delhi medical College.
