A new short hindi movie on Kumaoni, Uttarakhand ambience is being shot at magnificent locations of Uttarakhand in Almora and surrounding precincts is all set to be released for screening shortly with its title song being launched on 17 th April, 2026.
The movie titled “AINA – A Tale from the Heart of the Himalayas” is a poignant cinematic work that encapsulates the cultural ethos, emotional depth, and scenic beauty of Uttarakhand.
The film’s title track, “Dekhi Dekhi AINA,” holds special significance as it features the soulful voice of the late legendary folk singer Shri Diwan Kanwal Ji, alongside Dr. Ajay Dhoundiyal, with music composed by Ranjeet Singh.
The film is written and directed by renowned and extrous writer and actor Jagdish Tiwari and produced by Pooja Singh. The movie stars noted actors including Bollywood actor Hemant Pandey, Virendra Pundiyal, Ankita Parihar, Bhuwan Joshi, and child artist Bhavesh Bhatt.
The visual narrative is enhanced by the cinematography of DOP Kuldeep Rawat. The project is further supported by media partners such as Shabdoot Press, Girish Tiwari, Sunil Negi, Editor (Uknationews), CNN, and OHO. “AINA” stands as a dignified cultural tribute and a reflective cinematic expression rooted in the traditions of the Himalayas.
The movie is produced by Siddhi Cine Uttarakhand and it’s title song will be released on Friday evening 17 th April. It will come in your midst in the near future.
