Keshav Thalwal released in bail , will come out of jail tomorrow

A controvertial social activist and a you tuber, resident of Kuran village in Tehri Garhwal Keshav Thalwal who is in constant confrontation with the Uttarakhand police particularly with a Police post incharge who allegedly tortured him physically, mentally leading to forcibly asking him to lick the spit and shoes and drink urine several months ago and arrested outside the Uttarakhand DGPs office few days has finally been granted bail today.

The matter of Keshav Thalwal who is under immense depression seeking justice since the last six months by knocking every door of the senior police officers including the DGP has gone viral in Social media with the Uttarakhand Kranti Dal coming to his support and help – strongly condemning his arrest.

Giving the information about the bail of Keshav Thalwal who was behind bars after being arrested outside the DGP office/ police headquarter, Dehradun where he has gone to seek justice the senior vice president of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal Ashutosh Negi said that he is utterly shocked and surprised that a man who is so popular in social media seeking justice and people expressing their solidarity with him, not a single person has come as a guarantor for him not helped him financially. Negi elaborated that on March 22nd, Keshav Thalwal went to police headquarters seeking justice. He wanted to meet the DGP and present his case, but the police arrested him during the meeting. Following this incident, many people on social media posted in support of Keshav, writing messages like “We are together.”. Advocate Sandeep Mohan Chamoli helped Keshav Talwal seek the bail. He will be released tomorrow morning said the advocate Chamoli.

According to reports, Keshav Thalwal has been seeking justice for the past six months. He alleges that he has been continuously harassed after exposing corruption and police shortcomings in Uttarakhand.

Keshav also made serious allegations against SHO Dharmendra Rautela. Surprisingly, no impartial investigation has been conducted into his allegations to date.

Keshav also claims he was jailed for four months on a false charge. His family situation is also described as extremely tenuous. He has no father, a married sister, and his mother, for whom he is the sole support.

Frustrated by the lack of justice, Keshav has even visited numerous temples to plead for justice, but found no one to listen to his plight.
