Anil Baluni , Garhwal MP writes to Director, CBI to expedite the investigation into the massive LUCC scam

The Garhwal Member of parliament and the national media incharge of Bhartiya Janta Party Anil Baluni has written a letter to the Director of Central Bureau of Investigation , the Indian premier investigation agency urging for speedy probe into the Loni Urban Coperative Scam worth crores of rupees and stringently punishing the guilty who have dupeed hundreds of consumers, especially those living in Uttarakhand.
The affected women hailing from interior villages of Garhwal have protested in Delhi as well and had met the Garhwal MP Anil Baluni who had assured them of the thorough investigation by CBI and had also spoken to the Director of the premier investigating agency.
The protestors had held several agitations in Uttarakhand, Garhwal’s Srinagar and Dehradun and had also submitted a memorandum to the state chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami who had recommended the case for CBI investigation.
The main culprit of the case is believed to be allegedly living in Dubai after absconding with around eight hundred crores duped from the investors who had deposited their crores of rupees expecting good returns.
The LUCC had opened hundreds of offices in Dehradun and several parts of Garhwal and Kumaon including in India and duped thousands of people of their hard earned money.
In a letter addressed to the CBI director in Hindi Garhwal MP Anil Baluni has written that thousands of Uttarakhand people had deposited their hard earned money in LUCC who have been duped .
The government of Uttarakhand had recommended for the CBI probe in July but no concrete result has come till yet.
He urged the director CBI to expedite the investigation and return the money to the depositors at the earliest by providing them immediate relief.
It may be recalled that in the past several companies in the name of Chit Fund as above have been duping people of their hard earned money and are absconding but nothing has been done to return the money of the depositors and the guilty punished stringently.
Such defaulters, after committing the financial crimes run away with the exorbitant money and take refuge in foreign lands enjoying the comforts by hard earned people’s money.
What is surprising and shocking to note in this regard that not a single MP from Garhwal and Kumaon except Baluni have written to higher authorities nor raised their voice in parliament despite the hard fact that they are elected by the people under oath to serve them.
The affected women have come on foot to Delhi from Uttarakhand to seek justice leaving their families behind.
Their cause was taken up by the MDUPS and the advocate Mr. Rakesh Binjola and the women had marched to parliament to meet the president but were stopped on the way at the laxminarayan temple near Rajiv Chowk.
