Victims of Loni based company LUCC protest in Delhi, were going to President’s house , stopped on the way as 144 prohibitory orders were imposed

Several women protestors of Uttarakhand especially Pauri Garhwal who had been cheated of lakhs of rupees by the owner of a Loni based company now absconding and in Dubai have not been allowed to meet the president Draupadi Murmu as they wanted to meet her and present a memorandum demanding immediate arrest of the culprits of this huge money scam and ensuring that they get their money back at least the principal amount forthwith.

Several women who have been cheated have come to Delhi to seek justice after the Uttarakhand government and its police couldn’t accord them justice.

There are reports that hundreds of women have deposited their crores of rupees in the LUCC company in the hope to get back handsome returns.

The Loni based company had opened several offices at Dehradun and several parts of Garhwal and Kumaon divisions and have looted lakhs of people, especially women of their hard earned income by way of closing all their offices and decamping with approximately five hundred crores as being given to understand.

In Dehradun, Srinagar and several parts of Garhwal and Kumaon there had been several protest demonstrations and even the state chief minister and the DGP police were given memorandums demanding their hard earned money back but of no avail.

Finally after losing a hopes they came to Delhi inorder to meet the president of India and central government higher ups to get their long pending demand redressed.

Today, while they were marching to the President’s house with playcards in their hands they were stopped at Laxmi Narayan temple , near Rajiv Chowk and not allowed to move ahead of protest as 144 was imposed in the area and only five persons can be allowed to move ahead.

There were lots of arguments between the protestors and the police with the protestors arguing that they have every right to meet the first cititez of the country to express their vows but the police didn’t relent as there was 144, prohibitory orders imposed in the area. The women were camping at Garhwal Bhawan and were marching from there to President’s house to submit the memorandum.
