No confidence motion tabled in Lok Sabha against Speaker for not allowing LOP and opposition MPs speak in the ongoing session

In view of the repeated accusations of Congress and opposition parties in parliament against speaker OM Birla for becoming the RULING PARTY GOVERNMENT’S SPOKESMAN and not allowing the leader of the opposition speak on any issue under one pretext of the other, around hundred opposition members of parliament of Lok Sabha have submitted a duly signed ” NO CONFIDENCE ” motion against the Speaker in Tuesday amid acrimony by the treasury benches.
The leader of the opposition Rahul Gandhi was never allowed to speak in parliament and there have been maximum suspensions of MPs despite the hard fact that the LOP is considered to be the shadow prime minister of the country said K.C.Venugopal , MP and senior party leader including general secretary of the Congress.
He catagorically said that the LOP has not been allowed to speak in anything in this house. Even the speaker is seen criticizing the opposition MPs. There is no space for the opposition at all in the house.
Whether LOP or any other leader of other parties, nobody is getting chance to speak. They are not being allowed. You can see the record of the parliament. Such attitude of the speaker has never been witnessed in the past during parliament sessions said K.C.Venogopal.
It may be recalled that under the article 94(c) of the constitution the Speaker can be removed by a resolution passed in the Lok Sabha after a mandatory 14 days notice period.
After the opposition saw the dictatorial and one sided partial attitude of the Speaker favouring the ruling political dispensation and not letting LOP Rahul Gandhi speak in parliament especially when he want to expose the failure of the PM on defence related issues mentioned by the former Army chief on his not yet released book in India, on Indo US Trade Deal and not taking any action on BJP minister Nishikant Dubey’s remark including claims of women MPs allegedly posing threats to the PM, the entire opposition, India National Inclusive Developmental Alliance under the leadership of the chairman Mallikarjun Kharge held a meeting and deliberated thoroughly finally deciding to bring the “No Confidence Motion” against the speaker OM Birla.
Though they know that in view of not having the majority they won’t be able to remove him but at least the Leader of the Opposition will be able to speak at length on this motion thus able to put his entire points forth which he was not able to speak in view of the speaker’s partisan attitude in the Lok Sabha, every now and then, stifling the free speech of the opposition.
Meanwhile parliamentary affairs minister Kiran Rijuju whose primary task is to establish coordination and harmony between the opposition and the ruling party and keep the opposition in good humour during the session has completely failed in his duty. However, he feels satisfied that this no confidence motion will fall as the opposition led INDIA constituents are not possessing the requisite majority.
He forgets that though the motion will fall but the VOCIFEROUS LOP RAHUL GANDHI will definitely get enough opportunity to speak on various issues on which the voice of his was being stopped repeatedly by none other but the speaker under the pretext of rule book regulations.
