A maneater leopard made a 5-year-old child its prey. Grabbed him in front of his mother’s eyes.

A very tragic incident has occurred in the village of Sindravani in Rudraprayag where it has been reported that a 5 year old innocent child Daksh son of Hemant Bisht has been taken away by a leopard, due to which there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire area.
In the evening, Daksh went to the toilet next to the house, where his mother was standing. When Daksh came out, his mother started pouring water into the toilet. Meanwhile, a leopard, lying in wait, attacked the child and carried him away.
It is being told that the child had returned to the village from Delhi with his mother only yesterday, after which the leopard killed the child.
Immediately after the incident, villagers began searching for the child, scouring the surrounding forests, fields, and pathways.
The Forest Department and the administration have been informed of the incident. Departmental teams have left for the scene and a search operation is underway.
There have already been complaints of leopard activity in the area, and this incident has now brought to light the serious human-wildlife conflict.
The villagers have demanded the administration immediately install a cage, increase patrolling, and provide a permanent solution.
