The pilot of the crashed jet carrying six passengers including the deputy CM Pawar was young Captain Shambhavi who sought training at New Zealand and was a fully trained pilot

The six seater plane carrying the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar and his five other associates including the pilot to Baramati to participate in the District Council elections was piloted by a young, dedicated and energetic professional pilot Captain Shambhavi Pathak sending shock waves all around in Maharashtra, the country, among friends and fraternity.
According to the news pouring in, Captain Shambhavi Pathak had a very enlightened career with her academic background extremely impressive who received her early education in India.
She completed her BSc in Aeronautics and Aviation Science from the University of Mumbai further moving to New Zealand to become a pilot.
A brilliant lady Captain Shambhavi received her commercial pilot training from the New Zealand International Commercial Pilots Academy.
He learned the intricacies of professional flying here between 2018 and 2019. It was there that he also earned his commercial pilot license from the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority.
After being fully trained from New Zealand ambitious Shambhavi returned to India and obtained a commercial pilot license from DGCA.
She also completed her Frozen ATPL, a crucial step towards becoming an airline pilot. She also held a Flight Instructor rating, making her eligible to provide flying training to others.
According to the news Shambhavi Pathak also worked as an assistant flight instructor, where she trained new pilots and deepened her understanding. Shambhavi received Aviation Security (AVSEC) training from SpiceJet. She also completed orientation training on the A320 jet.
If we talk about the salary of the deceased pilot Captain Shambhavi generally, a first officer working on a jet like Learjet gets a salary of around Rs 3 to 4 lakh per month. The tragic demise of Captain Shambhavi is a huge loss for the family and the nation and the vaccum left by him is difficult to be fulfilled. RIP
It may be recalled that several political leaders like former union civil aviation minister Madhav Rao Scindia , Rajesh Pilot and now Ajit Pawar among several others are the victim of the chopper of aircraft crashes going to different locations within the country related to political affairs or department related duties.
The chopper of the chief of the defence staff had also crashed few years back in which he alongwith his wife and pilots etc were killed. The Congress leader Sanjay Gandhi was tragically killed alongwith another pilot Mr. Saxena while taking acrobatics of his two seater plane at Safdarjung airport in the year 1980 on 23 rd June. The former chief minister of Gujarat died in a plane crash when he was heading for London to meet his wife two years ago.
