An Information has been received in Tharali that a Mahindra Bolero vehicle (UK 11 TA 2334) met with an accident and fell into a deep ditch near Kurad village on Kurad-Partha motor road.
Upon receiving the information, police from Tharali police station rushed to the scene. Upon arriving, they discovered the vehicle had fallen into a deep ditch.
Given the seriousness of the situation, a DDRF team was immediately called to the scene.
A joint rescue operation was launched with the help of local villagers and the 108 ambulance service was immediately called to the scene.
During the rescue operation, all the injured passengers were safely evacuated and transported by ambulance to the Tharali Community Health Center.
A total of eight people were in the vehicle out of which, 07 injured were found to be in serious condition and were referred to higher centre after first aid, while 01 general injured was discharged from Community Health Centre Tharali after first aid.
