Bihar minister is the new BJP president

The Bhartiya Janata Party high command has stunned everyone by the announcement of the new Bhartiya Janata party national president, who is a not so popular figure nor holding the national stature as the saffron party leader.

The outgoing president J.P. Nadda who is also the union minister Health and chemical and fertilizer ministries had served on this post for pretty long time from January 2020 till now.

His orginal three year term was fixed from January 2020 to January 2023.

The term of Mr. Nadda was further extended till June 2024 due to pandemic COVID 19 disrupting internal elections and in anticipation of the Lok Sabha elections.

The new president with an unfamiliar name is Nitin Nabin, currently minister in the Nitish government.

The announcement of the new president has been made today and on Sunday.

According to an official order the BJP Parliamentary Board has appointed Shri Nitin Nabin, Minister, Government of Bihar, as the National Executive President of the Bharatiya Janata Party,” the order stated.

The letter issued in Hindi said that the parliamentary board of BJP has appointed minister Bihar government as the president of the national executive of BJP with immediate affect.
