Former space scientist undergoing life imprisonment in alleged Brahmos spying case acquitted after six years of imprisonment

A big twist has come in a case pertaining to Brahmos spying case in which a former scientist of Brahmos aerospace was given the life sentence after being convicted of spying for Pakistan’s ISI a d supplying them the important secrets. The convicted for space scientist namely Nishant Aggrawal has now been acquitted by the Nagpur High Court bench. The Nagpur Bench of the Mumbai High Court has in Monday turned down judgement of the lower court after Nishant Aggrawal was convicted in the serious charges of cyber terrorism and spying for Pakistan’s ISI. However, the Nagpur High Court bench continued the charge of keeping the secret documents in his personal devise for which he was given three years sentence. Since Aggrawal had already undergone sentence of six years ,he was acquitted and set free. This judgement of Nagpur High Court bench has brought tremendous relief to former Aero space scientist though also exhibits the seriousness of cyber dangers in Indian Defence areas as well as in hiney trap operations. After the investigations it was revealed that the Pakistan ISI agents have through fake profiles in the name of Neha, Pooja Ranjan and Sejal Kapoor has conspired to honey trap the Indian scientists. The investigations revealed that they had targetted other scientists too in addition to Nishant Aggrawal to trap them in their honey trap.
