Former home And coal minister at the centre Sriprakash Jaiswal breathed his last due to cardiac arrest

The former union minister of Coal and state minister of Home affairs, extremely fond of Hindi and Urdu poetries especially Shayaris of his famous legendary Urdu poet Ghalib, Shri Prakash Jaiswal has passed away at the age of 81 after suffering from cardiac arrest. He was declared brought dead after the doctors tried their best to give him CPR but of no avail.
Former Mayor of Kanpur in 1989, twice a member of parliament and minister of Coal, cabinet rank and prior to it a state home minister Jai Prakash Aggrawal breathed his last on 28 th November due to cardiac arrest.
An ardent admirer of Ghalib and Faiz Ahmed Faiz , legendary Urdu poets former cabinet minister Sriprakash Jaiswal was a soft spoken politician who was born and brought up in Kanpur, extremely fond of Urdu and Hindi Kavi Sammelan where he used to go and sit among the audience to enjoy them heartily.
One of our dear friend Surendra Singh Negi who is also no more had worked with him when he was Coal minister and living at Shah Jahan Road official bungalow as his OSD. May his soul rest in peace.
