KNOWN AS FIELD MARSHAL AND UKD FOUNDER, VICE PRESIDENT, FORMER CABINET MINISTER IN UTTARAKHAND DIWAKAR BHATT ADMITTED IN INDRESH HOSPITAL

One of the founders of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal , popularly known as field Marshal who was extremely active in the separate Uttarakhand movement, former MLA on UKD ticket from 2007 to 2012 and minister during the rule of Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank though expelled from UKD then for joining the saffron party government’s council of ministers – Diwakar Bhatt has been admitted in Indresh hospital in Dehradun for his ailment related to neuro and age related ailments. He has been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit.

According to the news reports the UKD leader has fallen down at his home and was seriously ill thereafter being admitted in Indresh hospital.

The Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited him yesterday and Trivendra Singh Rawat, MP today in the hospital to enquire about his health. Diwakar Bhatt after being expelled had rejoined the UKD after 2012.

Diwakar Bhatt, who played an active role in the Uttarakhand state movement in Srinagar Garhwal while being an ITI student, became the founding vice president of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal formed in Mussoorie in 1979.

He has fallen seriously ill after slipping at his home and is admitted to Mahant Indresh Hospital, Dehradun.

Thousands of Uttarakhand statehood activists who have dedicated their youth to the statehood movement, wish Bhatt ji a speedy recovery.
The former Uttarakhand CM and MP Lok Sabha from Haridwar after meeting the ailing UKD leader write on X : Met senior leader Shri Diwakar Bhatt ji, Uttarakhand state agitator and one of the founding members of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal, admitted in Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Dehradun and enquired about his health.
Respected Bhatt ji’s health is improving rapidly. I pray to Mother Ganga for his speedy recovery.
