TEJASVI YADAV – THE FIRST CHOICE AS CM CANDIDATE IN BIHAR , NITISH COMES SECOND

The two phase of polling in Bihar has ended finally and the counting is just a day after. The exit poles, about seventeen in numbers till now has majorly given the NDA an upper hand with little number of exit poles giving advantage to Mahagathbandhan.

However, there is an un ambiguous prediction that both the national political parties, the BJP and Congress are a distant third and fourth and the competition is merely between the RJD and JDU with the latter having an upper hand as an important partner of NDA.

The best part of the voting in Bihar has been that in both the two phases of polling, the voting has been bumper nearly seventy percent in the second round and 65.7 % in the first round.

Despite the maximum exit polls giving upper hand to NDA keeping the Mahagathbandhan at bay, the political analysts say that in 2024 and earlier on several occasions including in Bihar the exit polls have failed badly.

In 2024 general elections Prime minister Narendra Modi’s narration of 400 paar ( char sau par) reverberated and all the godi media related exit polls had predicted more than 350 and 400 seats which backfired badly with BJP led NDA bringing merely 240 seats and the government running on the crutches of JD( U) of Nitish Kumar and RJD of Chandrababu Naidu.

Therefore, the results of the exit poles cannot be relied upon hundred percent and may backfire as was in Bihar in 2005, 2015 and 2020 including in 2024.

The political analysts say that while Nitish Kumar as chief minister of Bihar for twenty long years has accorded the electorates of Bihar an opportunity to go for a change due to massive anti incumbency due to his inefficient government on various fronts and he earning the tag of Palti Maar leader ( an opportunistic leader ) with no ideological base whereas on the other hand the youth , enthusiastic and dashing leader of RJD and Mahagathbandhan Tejasvi Yadav has clicked among the millions of youths of the state for promising them employment in the government services, one member in the family.

The tremendous crowds drawn in the rallies of RJD and Mahagathbandhan addressed by Tejasvi Yadav have infact given a clear indication that the youth of the state this time are openly and solidly favouring the Mahagathbandhan come what may.

Therefore, the bumper voting in Bihar in both the election phases unambiguously, indicate the vote for change reveal sources.

Even if this is wrong, and Nitish still remains the women’s choice for giving them Rs. Ten thousand each and several other concessions earlier – Tejasvi Yadav is still surprisingly the best number one choice in Bihar for the chief minister post with Nitish Yadav coming second followed by four others.

According to the PEOPLE’S CHOICE SURVEY ON THE DAY OF Voting during phase 1 and 2 conversing with the voters it was revealed that RJP leader and Mahagathbandhan’s CM projected candidate Tejasvi Yadav is the first choice favoured by 32% people of the state followed by sitting chief minister Nitish Kumar securing 30% votes and Prashant Kishore ,Chirag Paswan securing 6% votes each with Samrat Choudhary of BJP getting merely 4% votes.

This clearly indicate that Tejasvi Yadav has come on number one with Nitish Kumar lagging behind as the CM candidate.

If this exit poll is to be believed and some other polls giving Mahagathbandhan a good lead compared to the exit polls of Godi media then it is absolutely true that the exit polls showing lead to NDA may backfire as was the case in 2024 national elections and thrice in Bihar in 2005, 2015 and 2020.
