AIYF urged LG , Delhi to intervene in the teachers recruitment policy to provide them relief

The All India Youth Federation (AIYF) Delhi State Committee has formally submitted a letter to the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi regarding the age limit issues faced by aspirants in the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) PGT and TGT recruitments.
In the letter, AIYF Delhi has highlighted that thousands of deserving candidates are being unfairly disqualified due to rigid upper age limits, compounded by recurring delays in recruitment processes.
The organization has urged the LG to intervene and direct the concerned authorities to introduce age relaxation and policy reforms to ensure fairness in upcoming recruitments.
According to the State Secretary
All India Youth Federation (AIYF) – Delhi State Committee SHEJO VARGHESE a large number of qualified and experienced candidates are being deprived of fair opportunities due to the rigid upper
age limit presently enforced by DSSSB.
Many candidates who have diligently prepared for years and have crossed the prescribed age barrier because of recruitment delays or
administrative backlogs now find themselves ineligible through no fault of their own.
The AIYF through their letter to LG requested for his intervention to direct the concerned authorities to provide age
relaxation for aspirants affected by recruitment delays. Formulate a transparent and compassionate policy that considers the legitimate grievances of over-age candidates including ensuring that the upcoming recruitment notifications reflect equitable and inclusive provisions.
Such a step would not only bring relief to thousands of deserving youth but also restore faith in the principles of fairness and equal opportunity within Delhi’s education recruitment system. The memorandum concluded by saying that :We hope this issue will receive your consideration and prompt action said the letter by AIYF.
