Seven arrested under stringent POSCO ACT who kidnapped and sexually assaulted a 13 year old girl
Seven culprits who had allegedly kidnapped the thirteen year old girl Saachi originally from Garhwal, Uttarakhand from Baljeet Nagar have been arrested by the Patel Nagar police and sent to jail and various cases under stringent POSCO act registered against them.
However,this could become possible after the activists of the Mahanagar Delhi Uttarakhand Pravasi Sangathan sat on two days dharna outside Patel Nagar police station demanding registration of the case against the culprits for allegedly assaulting the adolescent girl , keeping with them clandestinely for several days after kidnapping her who went mysteriously missing on 6 th October finally traced by the police with the help of MDUPS activists led by Kamal Dhyani, a single cial activist himself. The thirteen year scared and terrified girl was thrashed several times with impressions still on her legs below the knee.
It may be recalled that the above organisation had levelled accusations of gross negligence by Patel Nagar police station of Delhi Police in the case of kidnapping and rape of a minor hill girl from Baljit Nagar as no First Information Report was filed in the matter till 17th.
The report was filed on 18th by Kamal Dhyani, President of Delhi based organisation Mahanagar Delhi Uttarakhand Migrant Organisation (MDUPS) along with his members amidst huge uproar in the police station.
The police did not take any action in this serious case till the 24th said Dhyani.
After the MDUPS members provided information about the kidnapped girl to the police gathered from their own sources, the police recovered the girl. However, no arrests were made.
Even after the girl’s medical report confirmed physical abuse, the police did not record her statement under Section 164 and postponed the case till Tuesday said the MDUPS activists.
Even after the minor girl gave full information about the main accused in her statement, the case is being hushed up charged Kamal Dhyani.
Annoyed activists of MDUPS sat on Dharna against the gross negligence of the police, outside Patel Nagar police station.
The organization has appealed to the public to surround the police station on Sunday.
However,later in on the call given by the ACP of the area Mr. SUNIL Kumar and SHO Rajeev Kumar the activists agreed to life their peaceful protest as the culprits were arrested under POSCO charges and girl handed over to the parents safely with future legal action to continue and the concerned authorities to take care of the victims every possible care.
