Professor Dinesh Varshney elected secretary of Delhi state Council of CP I for the second term unanimously
The 26th CPI Delhi State Conference has re-elected Comrade Prof. Dinesh Varshney as Secretary of the CPI Delhi State Council. The communist party activists and all the leaders present in the conference congratulated him and the newly elected leadership.
The Party will raise the pressing issues of the national capital vociferously and strengthen the struggles of the people said Professor Dinesh Varshney. .
The Conference was attended by CPI General Secretary D. Raja, National Secretariat members Amarjit Kaur and K. Narayana, along with senior leaders and delegates.
Meanwhile, the Communist Party of India, Delhi State’s 26 th Conference was concluded today i. e.14 September 2025.
The conference commenced yesterday with a good presence of all the national and Delhi state leaders including CPI activists.
It was today addressed by Com. D. Raja General Secretary CPI, Com. and K. Narayana CPI National Secretary CPI.
While addressing the enthusiastic and committed workers n leaders Comrade D. Raja emphasized that the Communists were and are always in the forefront of the People’s struggles.
The Communist Party of India has led many popular struggles he added. Accusing the ruling political dispensation at the centre led by BJP as anti people the communist leaders said that every section of the society is fed up with this government. It only run the agendas of the capitalists and Dalits, minorities are under severe attacks. The RSS their mother organisation is communal in terms of ideology. Constitution of India is in danger. We have to defend constitution said the CPI leaders and national general secretary D.Raja .
COM. K Narayana while addressing lauded the Role of CPI. Youth of the country is disillusion in the country. There is no jobs for them. Education is under attacks. Communalisation of education is being done. The Modi Led government wants to kill scientific Temperament said the CPI senior leader.
COM. Amarjeet Kaur CPI National Secretary also addressed today and explained how to strengthen the CPI in Delhi. She recalled that History of the CPI Delhi State is very glorious since its foundation in Delhi since 1939. Its founding Secretary Bahal Singh was jaied by British police for a year. The British police declared entire CPI Delhi State leadership dangerous. She advised delegates of the conference to launch intensive struggles in Delhi on peoples grievances fir their redressal.
Resolution condemning Israeli genocide in Gaza Palestine was also moved by COM. Aprajita Raja. Resolution on women’s repression and suppression issues was moved by women leader Alka Srivastava,
Resolution on DUSU elections and its election commission’s open violations of Lingdoh committee recommendations and cancellation of AISF vice president candidate was moved by Muhsina Mohammad.
Resolution on Youth and unemployment and demand for unemployment allowance was moved by Youth leader Shijo Varghese. Resolution on working class and labour issues was moved by Trade Union leader Mukesh Kashyap.All the resolutions were passed by the conference unanimously.
Later the CPI annual conference of CPI Delhi council elected 25 member State Council and 9 member Secretariat of the CPI Delhi State Council with unanimous election of Prof. Dinesh Chandra Varshney as Secretary CPI Delhi State Council for the second term.
