UTTARAKHAND CM PRESENTED CHEQUES OF RS. 1.61 CRORES BY UNION BANK OF INDIA AND SWAMY RAM UNIVERSITY

The Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was today presented a cheque of Rs. 51 Lakhs by the Swami Ram Himalayan University for the relief and rehabilitation work at Dharali and Harshil in order to help the victims if this ecological catastrophe. Earlier,a delegation of the Bank of Baroda had presented the Uttarakhand CM a cheque of Rs. One Crore. The management of the Union Bank of India also presented a cheque of Rs. 1 crore to Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami yesterday. The chief minister thanked them and said that he appreciates their kind and generous gesture to help support the victims of ecological catastrophes of Uttarakhand. The Uttarakhand chief minister had earlier urged to support and donate for the Dharali, Harshil and other ecological catastrophes victims and till date only Bank of Baroda, Union Bank if India and Swami Ram Himalayan University have supported the cause with 2.51 crores of Rs. cheques.
