Woman Congress MP from Tamilnadu robbed of her gold chain at Chanakyapuri in the morning hours, hurt and her clothes torn

The law and order situation in the national capital looks under control externally but the incidents of chain snatchings are definitely on the increase with the resolution rate very low as once your golden chains gets snatched or vehicle, motorbike stolen even police allegedly says that there is no use to lodge the FIR as it’s of no use.

In cases of written complaints/FIR the response and resolution rate is very poor.

Moreover, in majority of the cases the victims fear going to police stations to lodge complaints either being dissuaded not to do so or of the fear of reprisal from the criminals involved in chain snatching.

Yes if a VIPs gold chain or something expensive is snatched he or she if influential, will get back the stolen gold articles in no time.

But the commoner hardly get back their stolen gold chains etc.

While, the residents and citizens in the inner localities of Delhi are the victims of chain snatchings regularly the police is hardly proactive in majority of the cases.

In Chanakyapuri which us considered to be a VVIP area with majority of Embassies and High Commissions located here including the Bhawans of majority of the states, and tight police security with lots of Cctv cameras a Congress woman MP T. Sudha from Tamilnadu who had gone for a morning walk alongwith her friend was victim of chain snatching on Monday morning including her clothes torn and was mildly hurt.

The terrified woman Congress MP from Mayiladdutureyi,Tamilnadu R.Sudha who alongwith her fellow MP had gone for a morning walk in Chanakyapuri was attacked by a chain snatcher and her gold chain robbed including she hurt on her neck and her clothes torn.

Extremely infuriated and terrified the woman MP has shot a strong letter to the union Home minister Amit Shah complaining how she was robbed early morning, injured and her clothes torn by the criminal and the local police of no help despite her complaining to the local Control room police car called the PCR.

She said that this shameful incident happens in a state whose chief minister is the Women complaining the way she was attacked she could have died.

Saying that she is in a state of shock she is worried what will be the safety aspects of our women community. There is no security and safety of country women. She asked had he cut my throat I would have died.

This is the lawlessness in NCT of Delhi where a woman chief minister is ruling said the Woman Congress MP from Tamilnadu R. Sudha who has been robbed of her Gold chain this morning in Chanakyapuri.

The MP said : he pulled my chain and tore my clothes. I wanted to fix my clothes, so I did not care about my chain. After snatching, he fled immediately.

She immediately went to Tamilnadu House and took two policemen to the spot but on the way saw the PCR. I complained them about this incident but they didn’t do much and asked me to come to the police station to lodge the FIR.

She thereafter met Priyanka Gandhi who accompanied her to the speaker and complained about this horrific incident. I lodged my complaint there and to the home minister as well through email waiting for the response. I am still badly terrified said the MP.
