On the written complaint of News Nation FIR lodged against Maulana Rashidi and three SP activists who attacked Rashidi during the live debate the other day

After the stunning and uncalled for shocking thrashing of Maulana Rashidi inside the Nation News channel recently by a leader and activists of Samajwadi Party while the live programme was going on , the Noida police officer Sector 126 , Noida Uttar Pradesh Police station has registered an FIR against Maulana Rashidi the victim and three others namely Shyam Singh, Mohit Nagar and Kuldeep Bhati who attacked the former.

However, the police action took place after the News Nation news channel management had lodged a complaint to the police.

Earlier the victim Maulana Rashidi after being attacked in the News Nation studio had also given his complaint in writing about the alleged attack on him.

It may be recalled that few days ago Maulana Rashidi had given a derogatory statement against the Samajwadi Party MP and wife of former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav and the Samajwadi party activists were utterly infuriated.

They went inside the studio during the live streaming of the debate and allegedly attacked Maulana Rashidi during the streaming of the programme at the end.

Maulana Rashidi is the president of All India imam Association. When he lodged a written complaint he wrote that while he was participating in the live debate at 3.10 during the noon, right after the debate ended three persons started abusing me and two of them literally thrashed me with repeated slapping and punches.
