DVI HOLA JAB SAATH HAS DONE FULL JUSTICE TO THE AUDIENCE BY BEING AN OUTSTANDING GARHWALI MOVIE, KUDOS

Yesterday I got an opportunity to go to Jaipuria Mall at Indirapuram, NCR, Ghaziabad to watch a Garhwali movie, ” DWI HOLA JAB SAATH”. Though initially the title of the Garhwali movie didn’t convinced me considering that the film probably would not be an outstanding hit. But since , I was invited by an actor in the movie, a seasoned artist Vimal Uniyal and my close friend , I had no choice but to travel from Rohini to Jaipuria Mall under the sweltering and scorching heat unwillingly.

Since these days, regional Uttarakhandi films are being made rapidly especially after the Uttarakhand government’s announced about subsidy of fifty percent on regional movies, the quality of the films are being compromised.

But despite this one should definitely admit that gradually the Garhwali Kumaoni films have improved considerably and good films are coming too but the audience need to be brought to theatres which is actually not happening.

The theatres are usually with less than fifty percent capacities though lot of fanfare is being created about these films on social media and in local print media as well.

However, despite all this – several beautiful , dexterously and with dexterity produced films are definitely coming forth – to name a few Sebheru Gham, Bathaun, Major Nirala, Meru Gaon, Asgaar, several films directed by seasoned director Anuj Joshi and Jab Dwi Hola Saath, Kaara, etc etc.

However there is lot to say about the Uttarakhandi films but despite various shortcomings, good directors, producers and actors including the scriptwriters are thronging Uttarakhand for good movies encompassing the beautiful and mesmerising locations. If we go by the rate of film production during the past five – ten years good number of films are made ready for viewing in theatres in just a year’s time and sometimes even in less than a year.

Though this gives a good and encouraging picture of the state of affairs of Uttarakhand films but in rapid film production the quality of the films and its making do suffer badly amounting to compromising with the quality of films not running in theatres for reasonable good time.

Therefore there is an inevitable need to make good and qualitative films rather than going for quick productions.

Quality demands time, tolerance, good and scenic locations, fantastic script, better dialogue deliveries, outstanding background music, melodious meaningful songs and above all leading voices and handsome and beautiful heroines with talent in acting to fulfil the urge and appetite of the audience for qualitative regional movies.

At the premier of Garhwali movie today ” DWI HOLA JAB SAATH” at Jaipuria Mall at Indirapuram yesterday the movie seems to have done full justice to the audience. In my opinion it was a fantastic movie with best cinematography, dialogue deliveries, scenic locations and outstanding script with melodious songs and mesmerising music.

The direction was too up to the mark with few demerits but can be overlooked.

What is interesting about the movie is that the director , producer and script writer is a singular professional hand from Punjab Ravi deep who has creatively weaved everything to bring out a good movie with satisfactory results. The film keeps the audience glued to their seats for 2.5 hours and some even in tears at the conclusion of the movie.

The star cast of the Garhwali movie who took almost three years to come to picture halls making a special mark by its remarkable script and direction are Manish Dimri, Kalyani Gangola, Amit Bhatt, Ankita Parihar, Riya Sharma, Ramesh Rawat,Vimal Uniyal, Sushma Vyas, Roshan Upadhyay, child artist Aarav Bijalwan. The music of the movie was delivered by Amit V.Kapoorand B.Kaish, cinematography by Nilesh Babu and editing by Divya Deep Mahajan. The credit for Garhwali adaptation of the story and film goes to Shobhna Rawat while the creative director of the film is Amit Dikshit.

The main characters of the movie the hero, side hero, heroine and side heroine including their parents and rest of the artists have definitely done justice to the audience by their outstanding acting and dialogue deliveries. The music was mesmerising and so were the melodious voices of the singers in beautiful locations of Uttarakhand. The film was majorly shot in the beautiful location of the ” Rauton ki valley”, in Swakhal, Tehri Uttarakhand.

Kudos.
