A village woman going to toilet in a Chamoli village at Dasholi block grievously injured by a maneater

In Chamoli district of Garhwal, Uttarakhand yet another tragedy occured, after few days ago, two deadly accidents taking place claiming ten precious lives of two families meeting the tragic end when their respective cars fell three hundred metres down in a river and a deep gorge.

On Sunday at Dasholi block in Chamoli district near Naaeil Kudav village, a man-eater leopard attacked a woman injuring her grievously. As usual he attacked the woman on her throat piercing its deadly teeth creating fyve deep wounds.

After the badly panicked woman desperately tried to free herself from the clutches of the man-eater leopard and made noise the villagers heard her shouts in desperation and came to her rescue in good number making noise.

Seeing the villagers the Leopard ran away leaving the grievously injured panicked woman behind.

The injured village woman was immediately taken to the nearby hospital for treatment. On hearing the news the entire village is in panic as they fear that it may attack again.

This incident occured early morning at 5.30 AM when the woman was going out for answering to the nature’s call towards the toilet.

All of a sudden a hungry leopard now turned man-eater immediately pounced on her as the predator was already in search of a human flesh.

While the Guldaar was attacking Heera Devi she badly panicked and bravely tried to get herself free from the clutches by making a noise and crying for help. The villagers immediately responded and came running making lot of noise to free her from the man-eater ‘s clutches.

The man-eater after hearing the noise panicked and left the injured woman behind.

The woman was admitted to the Gopeshwar hospital with five deep the wounds of the claws of the man-eater leopard. She was lucky enough to have come back home after five stitches. On the information of the forest chief ( Sarpanch) wild life , the officials of the Kedarnath forest wild life department has dispatched the team to the affected village. There are reports that the village residents are badly terrified as according to them two-man eater leopards are freely roaming around the village periphery and the surrounding villages prowling from human prey.
