Union Home and Cooperative minister Amit Shah visiting Dehradun on 26 April

The union Home and cooperative minister Amit Shah will be in Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun on 26 th April on a day’s visit to participate in an event being organised by India Seeds Cooperative Committee Limited at the FRI auditorium after which he will also take a meeting of the concerned minister and senior officers of the Cooperative department of the centre and the state and will deliberate on various important points of this department.
This is an important visit of Home minister Amit Shah after a protracted gap. There are also reports that though this is an event of the union Home minister’s participation in his own ministry’s programme but he will also interact with the Governor, Uttarakhand, chief minister and council of ministers, on organisational and state government related matters as well.
According to the latest news, the union Home and Cooperative minister Amit Shah will seek progress report on the various progress being made by the state cooperative ministry, department, Sehkari Samittees and the cooperative banks in the state including presentation of the progress made by the senior bureaucrats.
According to the secretary of the Cooperative Department of Uttarakhand several issues will be discussed in this meeting viz Computerisation of PAX committees, establishment of Grain storages regarding, commissioning of Jan Aushadi centres, regarding 33% representation to women in Cooperative committees, introduction of PAX service manual, establishment of Women wings in Cooperative Committees etc.
This visit of the union Home and cooperative minister Amit Shah in Dehradun to discuss significant issues of cooperatives will not only make the cooperative movement strong, cohesive and viable in the state but will also strengthen the cooperative movement in Uttarakhand.
The entire government machinery and the BJP is on hectic mode making all the necessary preparations for the rousing welcome of the union Home and cooperative minister Amit Shah with media gearing itself up to put several challenging questions to the important central minister, number two after prime minister on vital issues and development that took place in the state including the arbitrary arrests of two activists of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal and using of abusive language by the former minister Prem Chand Aggrawal.
