Huge cash found in Delhi High Court judges’s bungalow after it caught fire !

There is a highly sensational news coming in wherein a huge cash was recovered from the residence of a Delhi High Court judge whose family was constrained to call the fire brigade after the house caught fire. The high Court judge was out of station when the fire occured at his house. A huge amount of cash has been found at the house of Delhi High Court judge Shri Yashwant Verma…and the Supreme Court has decided to post him back to Allahabad High Court. Different versions are being given in social media about this unaccounted cash. In a startling revelation a fire broke out in the judge’s government bungalow in Delhi though he was out of town…even though he didn’t want to…the family had to call the fire brigade to save their lives and the police also arrived alongwith the fire brigade . According to the latest news reports it was revealed that a whole room of the judge was found filled with cash creating quote a sensation. There was chaos and the matter reached the top echelons of the government machinery through the top police officials… from where the CJI Sanjeev Khanna was informed…. The Supreme Court Collegium sentenced Justice Yashwant Verma to be sent back to Allahabad HC. Now the question is, will a case not be filed against the judge even if he is caught red handed? Are judges above the law even in corruption cases? Will the Supreme Court Collegium wash its hands of the matter by simply transferring the matter? Will Justice Yashwant Verma continue to sit in the temple of justice (Allahabad High Court) and deliver ‘justice’ even after being caught with cash? wrote senior journalist , news anchor of News 24 Manak Gupta on X.
If this is the state of high court judge, what is left to say about the delivery of judgements in the high profile courts. CJI should bring the judges under disciplinary rules whereby judges should be liable for punishment. No.body is above the law. Will this happen, No. The public will continue to suffer their faulty judgments.
Absolutely true, Sunil Negi
Nobody is above law. How can we expect justice if incident happens like this?
