Padma Shri, 2 times councillor and one term BJP MLA Jitendra Singh Shanty , who donated blood 106 times n cremated 70000 dead bodies during Covid times joins AAP

The Aam Admi Party today received shot in the arm and gave a huge jolt to BJP when Padma Shri Awardee and BJP’s former MLA Jitendra Singh Shantee known for his outstanding services to Corona patients and sufferers during the dreaded Covid times have joined the Aam Admi Party at the behest of the national convenor of AAP and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival. Prior to this powerful entry of the BJP heavyweight in Delhi, three former MLAs of Congress Veer Singh Dheeman, Sumesh Shokeen and sitting councillor daughter in law from Seelampur and son of three term Congress MLA during Congress CM Sheila Dikshit’s rule Mateen Ahmed, including BJP’s three term MLA from Mehrauli, Chattarpur Brahm Singh Tanwar have joined AAP who all got tickets in the first list of AAP, declared recently.

Not only this but a Patel Nagar BJP contestent earlier Pravesh also joined AAP a day before yesterday including BB Tyagi who were allotted tickets from Patel Nagar and Laxmi Nagar.

According to the latest news, jubilant Arvind Kejrival has personally welcomed Padma Shri Jitendra Singh Shanti in Aam Admi Party and termed him as an invaluable asset for the party and society. Shunty has been the BJP MLA in 2014 and chief of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal Foundation having made record blood donation and helped patients on vast scale including Corona affected people during Covid times lauded by one and all including the central government awarding him the prestigious Padmashree.

He had himself made a world record by donating blood 106 times helping the needy. Shunty has been two times councillor from Jhilmil ward and one time MLA from Shahadara.

After welcoming him in AAP former Delhi Arvind Kejrival said that Shunty is known as Ambulance man who has honourably cremated / consigned to flames more than 70 thousands deads during Covid times when people feared coming out even for their family members and near and dear ones.

Joining AAP Jitendra Singh Shunty said that Arvind Kejrival, AAP and he himself are the staunch admirers and supporters of revolutionary Bhagat Singh. Moreover he is a honest, transparent and people centric vociferous leader. Therefore I have joined him unreluctantly said Padmashree awardee Jitendra Singh Shunty.
