In Uttarakhand over crowding of buses, Max Taxis , cars etc is a common feature with fatal accidents becoming a common affair and the authorities concerned literally doing nothing but to mint money . There is no accountability on anyone for these serious lapses. You will hardly see a traffic police personel, transport officers or the checking services on roads in Uttarakhand with the bus, taxi owners and others having their fullest says just by greasing the palms of the authorities.
Overcrowding of buses and max taxis have resulted in several accidents in the past too with even school going children dying mercilessly after the vehicle that was carrying them with over capacity had fell down in gorge with screaming school going children dying mercilessly.
Moreover, the drivers being drunk, talking on mobiles, with passengers, driving without having maximum sleep etc including roads in bad shapes, slippery, squeezed and with pot holes including blind turns are some of the vital reasons for these hugely fatal accidents for which the governmental head should be morally held responsible say the politicians of the opposition camp.
