Three die and three grievously injured after 6 passengers travelling in Alto car falls in a deep gorge 100 metres downwards

Today is Dushehra, the day of symbolic victory of the “truth over lies”, and “evil forces” with truth represented by Lord Rama who defeated Ravana and retrieved his wife Sita from the evil clutches of former who though was over intelligent and the ardent disciple of Lord Shiva but his bad deeds led to his death at the hands of Lord Rama.

While everyone is celebrating this day at the pan India level today known as ” Vijaydashmi” in Uttarakhand for hard lucked unfortunate three persons Vijaydashmi proved to be a real “VAJRAPAAT” a brutal bad luck event as three of the jubilant persons returning from a marriage party died in an accident not knowing that the event of happiness has something deadly in store for them on the pious day of Vijaydashmi.

According to the latest news an Alto car coming from CHUMRA to TYUNI , 95 kilometres away from Dehradun lost control near Rayisi temple and fell down with a bang taking several acrobats hitting the rocks and falling in a 100 metre deep gorge.

After receiving the information of the deadly accident the local people and police rushed to the accident site to retrieve those injured seriously and the unfortunate dead bodies.

Three persons were killed in this accident and three injured grievously said the news reports.

The Alto car was carrying altogether six persons who were coming from a marriage party.

The local police and the people took the badly crying persons in acute pain to hospital where three of the grievously injured were declared brought dead by the doctors whereas three others are being treated who are also severely injured. The police is trying to investigate the actual reason behind the accident and sources reveal that the driver of the car lost the control over the speeding car.

In Uttarakhand accidents have become a common feature with majority of the vehicles usually falling in deep gorge after the drivers lose control . There are several reasons behind these accidents viz blind turns, drivers doing excessive duty, drivers drunk, while driving talking to the passengers, pot holes on roads, roads being slippery, and sometimes uneven and squeezed roads including drivers driving carelessly, with overconfidence and overloading their vehicles to mint extra money.
