The vociferous Congress leader of Uttarakhand, former Congress state chief Ganesh Godiyal was the first to reach AIIMS yesterday from a national party who took the hospital administration to task and instructed them to take special care of the injured journalist.

Prior to the Congress leader Godiyal, the spokesperson of Congress Garima Mehara Dasauni took the government to task and criticized the BJP state government for absolutely failing on the law and order front. On her social media handle X she wrote today : The liquor mafia has broken Yogesh ji’s jaw from both sides, an operation is required, plates will be inserted… The CT scan report of Yogesh Dimri’s head injury is yet to come I request DG Information Banshidhar Tiwari that the government should bear the cost of treatment of Yogesh Dimri ji. What is significant here to mention is the fact that the Haridwar MP and former Uttarakhand CM who belongs to the ruling party BJP has exhibited a humanitarian gesture and visited AIIMS meeting the injured journalist and applying balm to his hurt sentiments.

Kindly recall that the former Chief Minister and Haridwar MP Trivendra Rawat, who spoke openly on the law and order situation of Uttarakhand, reached AIIMS, Rishikesh to meet journalist Yogesh Dimri, who was injured in a fatal attack by the liquor mafia. Yesterday, Trivendra Rawat’s statement was published in which he was seen saying, “I am feeling that the police is engaged in work other than the work in which policing should be done.” Earlier, Trivendra Rawat had said in Mussoorie that there is no fear of police among the criminals in Uttarakhand. The echo of this statement of Trivendra Rawat was heard from Delhi to Dehradun and from Gangotri to Pithoragarh and from Rishikesh to Champawat. A big meeting was organized in Dehradun in a hurry and it was also published in today’s newspapers.
Trivendra Rawat strongly condemned this deadly attack on the fourth pillar of democracy and called it extremely unfortunate.

Trivendra Rawat assured Yogesh Dimri and his family that the other culprits would soon be caught by the police.

In this serious matter, officials were directed to take strictest action against the culprits.
This moral support of his state MP for journalist Yogesh Dimri, who was badly injured by the liquor mafia, is a big message for all those forces who are thinking of crushing the original inhabitants of Uttarakhand.
However, everyone is waiting for the speedy recovery of their partner and after that they also have to fight against false cases.

Meanwhile the chief minister of Uttarakhand has instructed the administration and the Excise department top officials to conduct raids on liquor outlets in the state after receiving several complaints about overpricing and smuggling and selling liquor in various parts of the state illegally in the interiors.
