Petition to remove Kejrival as Delhi CM rejected by Delhi High Court
The national convenor of AAP and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal got a huge relief from High Court today when the learned judge outrightly rejected the petition filed by one Surjit Singh Yadav regarding ouster of Kejrival as chief minister of Delhi after his being sent to ED custody subsequent to his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate.
The petitioner wanted that the Delhi CM Kejrival should not be allowed to run the affairs of Delhi government from jail.
It may be recalled that the AAP leaders have been constantly saying that Arvind Kejriwal will run the government from Jail.
One Surjeet Singh Yadav had filed a petition in Delhi High Court urging his removal and not allowing him to run his government from the jail.
The Delhi High Court has while rejecting the petition outrightly said that High Court has no authority to remove the Delhi CM and there is no constitutional provision in this regard.
The judge has asked if the petitioner has any such rule in his knowledge he should come forth, with it.
He outrightly rejected the petition for removing Kejrival or not allowing him to run his government from the prison and thus giving Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal a great relief. “It is for the other wings of the government to examine in accordance with the law,” the bench, also comprising Justice Manmeet PS Arora, said.

Meanwhile, the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has appeared in the Rouse Avenue District Court today and the hearing was still going in while the news was being posted.
According to the news coming out from the court, the Delhi CM has termed his arrest as a calculated conspiracy by the ruling party to stop him from extensive campaigning during elections making a 25 thousand page charge sheet. He added that the people will response to this political conspiracy . Kejrival was answering to a question of a reporter in the corridor of Rouse Avenue District Court. Kejrival has revealed that the case against him is two years old and since then he was not arrested but at the nick of the time of elections his arrest materialised which is unjustifiable and smack of a political conspiracy.
Meanwhile the counsel of ED Mr. Raju objected to Kejrival putting his point of view forth, with the latter saying to Mr.Raju that he want his blessings, let me speak.
Kejrival got five minutes more to speak. The ED counsel Mr. Raju asked for 7 days more days ED custody which is ending today.
The Delhi CM has in the court on record accused the BJP as the recipient of Rs 50 crores given to it by the approver Sarat Reddy through electoral bonds cashed by the saffron party.
He asked : Shouldn’t be action taken against BJP as well. If AAP can become culprit then why not BJP for receiving Rs 50 crores through electoral bonds from Sarat Reddy said Arvind Kejriwal in the court ?
This statement of Arvind Kejriwal holds tremendous significance as he spoke in front of the learned judge in the Rouse Avenue Sessions Court.

According to DB live channel, the statement delivered by Arvind Kejriwal to the court is below which is self explanatory : The ED had two objects – first, to finish AAP , another to create smokescreen and after that starting a forcible extortion racket through which money is being collected. The next is Sarat Reddy : I want to know that are the four statements given against him enough for his arrest. There are thousands of pages in ED office which prove my innocence. Why are those pages not brought forth . If there is a liquor scam of 100 crores , then where is that money ? The real liquor scam starts after the ED enquiry. The issue brought in front of the court is regarding my arrest under conspiracy WHY ? THEY can put me in ED custody till they want said Kejrival accusing the BJP for taking Rs 55 crores through electoral bonds from the approver Sarat Chandra Reddy.
Kejrival who looked confident today even ridiculed his arrest and said the statements on which even a pick pocket of Chandni Chowk won’t be arrested, a sitting CM of the national capital has been arrested.
The court will give the judgement shortly having kept reserve for now.
The ED has asked for 7 days remand. The judge in the case is Ms Kaweri Baweja. The wife of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal , Mrs Sunita, daughter IITian and son were present during the hearing.
All the big leaders of AAP were also present inside the courtroom.
According to Ramesh Gupta counsel of Kejrival Arvind Kejrival asked can’t the legal action be taken against Sarat Chandra Reddy approver or BJP for giving and receiving money in the money trail after the culprit becoming an approver to the tune of Rs.50 crores through electoral bonds.
Meanwhile Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival has been remanded to ED custody for another four days till 1 st April, after Arvind Kejrival said that he is ready to co-operate n is not perturbed if given his custody to ED. The ED had demanded another 7 days custody. He didn’t opposed the ED custody demand, hence the judge sent him to four days custody reveal the news reports.
