Kejriwal requests Delhi people to vote for INDI Alliance and elect MPs on all seven Delhi seats. Assured Delhites of total relief from inflated water bills

The national convenor of AAP and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has appealed to Delhi electorates to vote for Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance candidate in Delhi and ensure that the candidates of INDI Alliance win on all seats and become their sole and emphatic voice in parliament. Arvind Kejriwal was addressing a massive rally in Delhi in which he assured the people having come their with their highly inflated bills that he will resolve their inflated water bills related grievances once for all . They should be carefree about this problem as he is their “beta”, and would resolve this problem as had been doing with regard to their other issues successfully. Accusing the central government led by BJP Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that the issue of resolution of inflated bills was passed in the DJB high level Board meeting but the LG was directed not to let it passed by the cabinet committee and the file is stuck there. He said but he will get it done positively at the earliest and provide relief to more than ten lakh consumers whose inflated bills are lying pending since Covid times. Kejriwal said that this problem of inflated bills arose from Covid time when the meter readers couldn’t go house to house and they made highly inflated bills on their own, leading to people suffering immensely. He reassured the people that since he is their son, he will not let a single water connection get disconnected and would resolve this problem once for all. It may be recalled that there are about 27 lakh sixty thousand water consumers in Delhi and out of them about 11 lakh consumers are suffering from the problem of inflated bills. The pending revenue due to non payment of inflated bills comes to Rs.1400. Arvind Kejriwal said that if we resolve this issue by going through each bill, as per the version of our minister in-charge it will take 80 years to clear them which is neigh to impossible. In order to give complete relief to Delhi consumers having inflated bills Arvind Kejriwal said that we have found two ways to provide relief to the people. Under first scheme, the DJB will ask for two genuine previous bills of the consumer and in that basis will bring out the monthly average and charge the inflated bill since the date it started. Under the second scheme the DJB will collect the genuine ( okay bills of ) 10 to 12 neighbours of the inflated bill resident and then take out the average. In both th these cases if the bills of the neighbours or previous self bill is within the 20000 litres monthly limit then the entire inflated bill will become zero. The people raised pro Kejrival slogans on hearing this good news. During the meeting when Delhi CM was addressing the crowd lot of people raised their inflated bills and some even shouted mentioning the arrears in several Lakhs. Arvind Kejriwal said that he fully agree that majority of these inflated bills are absolutely wrong as when I visited Govindpuri, a colony of the lower middle class I saw inflated bills showing bills worth Rs thousands and lakhs, one bill even of Rs. 21 lakh.
