Veteran leaders 96 years old Lal Krishna Advani and Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi turning 90 next month to keep away from consecration ceremony of Ram Temple

While January 22 will be the historic day for the majority community especially the saffron party in India, the day on which the prime minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest on the consecration ceremony of magnificent Ram Temple, a decades old dream finally come true but the two senior most veteran leaders of Bhartiya Janata Party 96 year old Lal Krishna Advani and turning 90 next month Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi who were the main driving force in the demolition of Babri Masjid opening a new chapter for the Ram Temple construction would not be able to attend this historic day due to their old age and the request made by the Ram Temple trust secretary Mr. Champat Rai as disclosed by him to the reporters.

According to the Secretary of the Trust both are the elders of the family who have been requested not to come on the occasion due to their old age and health issues and the request already accepted by both of them said Champat Rai Secretary of the Ram Temple Trust.

He categorically stated that due to the health reasons and over age both Advani and Dr. Joshi won’t be able to attend this ceremony adding that the arrangements and preparations are going on in full swing with Pran Prathistha prayers and rituals to commence from January 16 to be continued till January 22 , the historic day of the consecration of the Ram Temple ceremony in the august presence of the prime minister Narendra Modi, UP CM Yogi Aditya Nath, union minister Amit Shah and battery of union ministers including VIPs from all the states. From Mumbai leading entrepreneur Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, their wives, chief priests of various temples from Varanasi, Vaishno Devi, Chardhams of Uttarakhand, other historic temples, Shankaracharyas of six Darshanas, 150 sages and saints from all over the country, Dalai Lama, several Bollywood stars such as Kangana Ranaut, Madhur Bhandarkar, Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Arun Govil, Madhuri Dikshit, ISRO director Nilesh Desai etc including 4000 saints and 2,200 other guests have also been invited on this occasion. The Ram Temple consecration ceremony will be a significant event which will be telecast live globally impacting the Hindu community to a great extent. Baba Ramdev and Mata Amritanandamayee of Kerala will also be the special religious guests on this pious occasion. The estimated cost of magnificent Ram temple is whopping Rs 18000 crores being built by a leading construction company Larsen and Tubro with bricks in which Jai Shri Ram has been inscribed. Both the veteran leaders former deputy prime minister Lal Krishna Advani, the former HRD minister Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi were present on the day of the Babri Masjid demolition on 6 th December 1992 in Ayodhya being the main inspiring force behind the movement. The Ram Mandir issue, abrogation of Article 370 and implementation of Uniform Civil Code had always been the core issue of BJP raised in its main agenda and election manifesto always but right from the day of Janata Party to the days of the government of Atal Behati Vajpayee these issues were used to bag votes of the majority community but when reached the highest echelons of power, all these these three issues, were kept behind the curtain only to be implemented after 2014 when Narendra Modi was elected PM. Out of the three core issues of Bhartiya Janata Party the two core issues, abrogation of article 370 and 35 A have been executed later in stamped by Supreme Court as a valid decision including construction of Ram Temple seeing the light of the day being consecrated in a lavish ceremony on 22 nd, January in the presence of prime minister Narendra Modi just few months before the general elections of 2024 , obviously seeking maximum political mileage at the hustings. The former MP Congress CM Kamal Nath had during the election campaign raised the Ram Temple issue favouring construction of the historic Ram Temple in Ayodhya giving credit to the former Prime minister Rajiv Gandhi for opening the locks of Ram Temple in 1985 when he was PM.
