Four matches of the pre-quarter final of the 2023 T-20 cricket tournament organized by Devbhoomi Sports Mahakauthig Foundation played at Vinay Marg, Chanakyapuri grounds

Today’s matches were very exciting. There were two high scoring matches and two low scoring matches also. Two centuries were scored today itself.

Today’s first pre-quarter match is played between Pahar Boys Cricket Club and Kings XI UK playing first. Pahar Boys scored 226/5, thanks to a brilliant century by Deepak Singh Rawat in reply Kings XI UK which could score only 164/9 runs. Pahar Boys won the match by 62 runs and entered the quarter finals.

Today’s second match was played between Uttarakhand Veterans and Uttarakhand Lions. Thanks to Gaurav Rawat’s brilliant century, Uttarakhand Veterans scored 216/3 runs. Uttarakhand Lions could score only 164//7 runs. Uttarakhand Veterans reached the quarter-finals by winning the match by 52 runs.

Gaurav Rawat scored a brilliant century (114 runs) and was the man of the match. Suresh Kumar (Deputy Director DDA) honored him with a trophy. Kailash Kathait was the fighter of the match.

As the tournament is reaching its peak, its popularity is also increasing simultaneously.

Chief guests included Sunil Negi (senior journalist, President Uttarakhand Journalists Association, former media advisor to Super star turned MP Rajesh Khanna), Ajay Vedwal (Assistant Commissioner Delhi Police), K.C. Pandey (Adviser DCI Axis), eminent social activist and motivator and Himmat Singh Negi (Former Assistant Commandant Central Armed Police Force) were present.

President Arjun Kandari, Chief Patron Honorable Singh Aswal and National Organization Incharge Anil Rauthan ensured respect for all the guests from the foundation’s stage.

The remaining two matches today were low scoring and the teams worked very hard even for low targets.

Today’s third match was played between Bunty Cricket Club and Scholar Academy Kotdwar.

Bunty Cricket Club was out after scoring only 122 runs. Scholar Academy Kotdwar won the match by five wickets and entered the quarter finals. Saransh was the man of the match. Naval Pokhriyal honored him with the trophy. Rohit Joshi was the fighter of the match.

The final match was played between UK Rockers Cricket Club and UK Spartans. Playing first, UK Rockers were out for only 97 par. But in this low scoring match, UK Rockers won the match by bowling out UK Spartans for only 57 runs and got the ticket to the quarter finals.

Vikram Singh Kandwal was the man of the match. Naval Pokhriyal honored. Bhupendra Singh Bohra was the fighter of the match.
