Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival gives four important suggestions to central government regarding vaccines

The vaccine quota of Covaxin and Covishield has completely finished in the national capital territory resulting in closing down of all the Covid 19  vaccination centres demanding immediate supply of vaccines to enable innoculation of Delhites at the earliest.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival has accused the central government of reducing the quota of 16 lakh to 8 lakh doses saying that if Delhites will get the reduced quota it will take three years for the entire Delhi to be vaccinated posing risk to those no been  innoculated particularly those above 45 yrs, n with comorbidities n even the youngsters. The children however are already in the risk zone.
He urged the central government to enhance the vaccine quota of Delhi.
Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival has urged the central government that it should immediately issue directives to all the pharmaceutical companies of the country to manufacture Covid19 vaccines indigenously in large quantities and supply them to the government for mass vaccinations as it is the need of the hour.
He said that instead of requesting, the government should strictly order them to do the needful. This is utmostly essential as the Bharat Biotech pharmaceutical company manufacturing Covaxin at present, has agreed to give its formula to other companies if they wish to manufacture it.
The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival has asked the union government to send Covid vaccines to them as the vaccine quota has finished resulting in closure of all the vaccination centres in Delhi.
He catagorically demanded that the vaccine quota in Delhi has to be increased at all costs  as majority of the youth have been left out who are at greater risk due to the ongoing pandemic including the senior citizens.
Chief minister. Kejrival was addressing a digital press conference today. He gave four pivotal suggestions to the union government to effectively deal with the Covid 19 related situation in the country.
He said the government should strongly issue orders to all pharmaceutical companies to produce vaccines on vast scale to be innoculated to each and every countrymen instead of merely requesting them.
In addition to this, the union government should give orders to the foreign Covid 19 vaccine companies instead of the various states to manufacture and send vaccines to the central government which in turn should allocate these vaccines to all the states according to the relevant needs.
For this the Indian government can even talk to the heads of the state of these countries where these vaccines are manufactured to pressurise the vaccine manufacturers  and supply huge quantities of vaccines to us.
Moreover, since India is ready to buy huge quantities of vaccines from these foreign manufacturers, they will be happy to sell us, to earn good profits.
Therefore they will feel more convinced to supply these vaccines to the central government than to the states.
This is also necessary because the states are fighting with each other n pharmaceutical companies to get vaccines which is spoiling the nation’s image globally.
For instance Haryana, Delhi and Maharashtra, etc thus making mockery of the country in front of these foreign companies.
Thirdly, there are reports that there are several countries in the world who have stored good quantam of vaccines in their countries whereas their demand is too less.
The Indian government should request these countries to part with  the remaining vaccines to them which is lying idle in their storehouses n of no use at present.
Arvind Kejrival said that the fourth and last suggestion is that the Indian government should give immediate permission to those foreign companies who are duly interested to manufacture Covid 19 vaccines in India or abroad. They should be encouraged to produce vaccines in India emphasising that the central government should liberalise  than to depend on merely two vaccine manufacturers not able to cope with the situation presently in view of the spike in cases of Corona and subsequent unaccounted number of tragic deaths.
