MY MEETING WITH US PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN WAS EXTREMELY PRODUCTIVE REVEALS PM. UK PM SAYS : AM PROUD TO BE A HINDU AND WOULD BE VISITING TEMPLES IN DELHI !

The heads of States of various countries who are the members of G 20 have landed in India except Russian and Chinese president Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping to participate in the G 20 Summit.

However, the foreign minister of Russia Sergei Lavrov and the Prime Minister of China Li Qiang have arrived in New Delhi.

Meanwhile, the president of United States Joe Biden has arrived in the national capital in the evening and drove straight to Prime Minister’s residence after being received at the Airport by union minister and former Army chief V. K. Singh. The prime minister Narendra Modi welcomed the US President at the gate when he de boarded his car.

Both the leaders held a pre decided meeting in a jubilant mode with the senior officers who accompanied Joe Biden and officers of Indian side including NSA Ajit Doval at PM House on the sidelines.

The prime minister Narendra Modi welcomed US President and other heads of G 20 nations at his residence with tremendous warmth.

On X – earlier twitter prime minister Modi wrote after the meeting with US President : Happy to have welcomed @POTUS@JoeBiden to 7, Lok Kalyan Marg. Our meeting was very productive. We were able to discuss numerous topics which will further economic and people to people linkages between India and USA. The friendship between our nations will continue to play a great role in furthering global good tweeted prime minister Modi. From the meeting with PM India, the US President left for Hotel ITC Maurya where he would be staying while in Delhi for three days. About 400 rooms have been booked for the president’s entourage in Hotel Maurya.

Before leaving Washington for India President Joe Biden tweeted : I am headed to G20 – the premier forum for international economic cooperation – focused on making progress on American’s priorities, delivering for developing nations and showing our commitment to the G20 as a forum that can deliver. Every time we engage, we get better wrote Joe Biden on X.

Meanwhile, the United Kingdom prime minister of Indian origin Mr. Sunak landed at Palam Airport with his wife who is the daughter of renowned IT magnate Mr. Narayanmurthy namely Akshita.

After meeting the prime minister at his Lok Nayak Residence he met students and teachers at British School and interacted with them. British PM Sunak said that he is proud to be a Hindu and would be attending several temples in Delhi to pay his obeisance to various Gods. He responded happily and enthusiastically to the slogan of Jai Siya Ram uttered by the Union minister who received him at the airport. The Japanese PM and his wife had also arrived including the Canadian prime Minister Mr. Justin Trudeau who after watching the folk dance at the nearby platform arranged by the cultural department left for their respective venues. Apart from this, the head of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina, who is not the member of G 20 had also arrived here on the personal invitation of prime minister Narendra Modi. Mr. Modi had productive deliberations with Bangladesh PM and the talks between both the leaders covered pivotal issues like connectivity, commercial linkages and more.

The prime minister said that the progress in India Bangladesh relations over the last 9 years have been very gladdening.

The head of Argentina Alberto Fernandez was also welcomed by Indian delegation at the Airport and Mr. Alberto said that he is looking forward to prime minister Narendra Modi’s insightful views during the G 20 Summit proceedings.

The prime minister had a very good meeting with the Mauritius President Kumar Jugnauth at PM’s official residence. The prime minister said that this is a special year for India – MAURITIUS relations as we mark 75 years of diplomatic ties between our two nations. We discussed cooperation in sectors like infrastructure, Fintech, culture and more. Also reiterated India’s commitment to furthering the voice of the Global South tweeted PM in X.

Meanwhile, prime minister Narendra Modi said that India is delighted to host the 18 th G 20 Summit on 9 th and 20 th September at the New Delhi’s iconic Bharat Mandapam. I look forward for productive discussions during the next two days. Apart from these leaders the prince of Oman and Sultans of other Gulf countries have also reached Delhi to participate in the summit.

The Summit will start tomorrow morning and in the evening the President is the host at Rashtrapati Bhawan to all the foreign state heads, chief ministers, leaders of various political parties including prime minister, his council of ministers etc.

However, the Congress and several opposition leaders, especially if INDIA blocked including Rahul Gandhi have expressed their annoyance for not extending invitation to the veteran Congress leader and opposition leader of Rajya, Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge. The Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival and several other CMs, however have given their consent to attend it. However, the CM of Jharkhand Mr. Soren won’t be able to attend it as he has been summoned by the ED in a case pertaining to a land scam case.

Kindly recall that the members of the G20 are Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Türkiye, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the European Union. After the conclusion of the G 20 in Delhi the prime minister Narendra Modi will hand over the baton of this historic event to the Brazil head of the state to hold the event in their country the next year.
