NEW CENTRAL ELECTION COMMITTEE ANNOUNCED WITH PRITAM SINGH IN IT ALONG WITH KHARGE, SONIA AND RAHUL GANDHI
The president of All India Congress Committee Mallikarjun Kharge has nominated several senior leaders in the newly constituted AICC central election Committed , an important body of the 135 year old party.
This committee has been constituted in view of the fast approaching elections in the five states as well as the general elections.
From Uttarakhand the Chakrata five times MLA and the former minister, former opposition leader and former state president Pritam Singh has been accommodated for which the Congress leader earlier in oblivion expressed his indebtedness towards the party chief Mallikarjun Kharge as well as Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi including the top leadership.
He also congratulated other senior leaders for being included in the newly constituted election committee.
The vice president of state Congress Dhirendra Pratap congratulated Mr. Singh on this occasion.
This committee is significant because the Congress chief himself is one of the members of this important Central Committee which also includes Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Ambika Sonia, Adhir Ranjan Choudhary, Salman Khurshid, Madhusudan Mistry, Uttam Kumar Reddy, T. S. Singh Deo, K. J. George, Pritam Singh, Mohammed Javed, Amee Yajnik, P. L. Punia, Omkar Markam and K. C. Venugopal.
Earlier the other Congress leaders viz Harish Rawat and his protege Ganesh Godiyal were included as permanent and special invitees in the CWC, the highest decision making body if Congress and Dr. Harak Singh Rawat as a coordinator of a state.
The Congress party high command has tried to pacify and keep all the leaders opposed to each other in good humour by adjusting all, but Pritam Singh’s recent elevation in Central election committee with Party chief Mallikarjun Kharge , Sonia and Rahul Gandhi in it with KC Venugopal, organisational general secretary etc also included, makes him a pivotal leader of Uttarakhand as he has now come in direct contact with the Gandhi family and party chief.
Meanwhile, while giving his reaction on PRITAM Singh’s elevation to an important Central Election Committee which has Sonia, Rahul and KHARGE, former Uttarakhand CM and Singh’s bete noire Harish Rawat posted PRITAM Singh’s attractive photo and wrote on X, earlier twitter in Hindi : We should all pull out efforts together to ensure victory of Congress candidates on all the five parliamentary seats. I have recently been back by putting my best efforts physically according to my capacity from Bageshwar and would be constantly contributing in future as well. The Congress high command has commenced giving mileage to the Uttarakhand Congress taking it further ahead. It has made a part of the four corner leadership a member of the Central Election Committee . Now some other appointments are in pipeline. Now the responsibility is on us tweeted Rawat. But he had not congratulated PRITAM Singh so heartily as posted his impressive picture.
