NOIDA SECTOR 21A- MAHAKAUTHIG WILL BE STAGED FOR FIVE DAYS FROM 21 ST DECEMBER TO 25 TH DECEMBER
A FIVE DAY MAHAKAUTHIG is being organised at Noida Stadium situated at Sector 21 A, Noida from 21 st December to 25 th December with the sole efforts of eminent musician of Uttarakhand Rajendra Chouhan and his better half also known as Swar Kokila of Uttarakhand, a popular melodious singer Kalpana Chouhan and their dedicated team. This significant event being organised at Noida Stadium in Sector 21 will also have 100 stalls which will sell the regional food items, delicacies, traditional jewels, clothes, wears, attires and different delicacies including Uttarakhad’s millet, lentils, indian barnyard millet ( Jhangora), Kodaa, traditional musical instruments, literature, books, etc.
The five day MAHAKAUTHIG will see thousands of curious and dedicated watchers, lovers of Uttarakhand’s folk culture, songs and heritage thronging here on all five days with VIPs too joining them.
Started for the first time in 2011 , Uttarakhand MAHAKAUTHIG organisers show dances, folk songs n theatrical performances from artists coming from various parts of Uttarakhand to exhibit their interesting n enthralling songs, dances and traditional culture from Garhwali, Kumaoni and Jaunsaar regions in colourful traditional attires impressing one and all.
Last year the Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Aditya Nath and several central ministers including MPs from Uttarakhand had visited the Mahakauthig in Indira Puram and lauded the organisers for their tremendous successful efforts to make this massive event a grand success. Every year eminent theatre personalities, journalists, singers, artists n outstanding personalities of various, fields having contributed to Uttarakhand in their own ways are felicitated with awards to recognise their outstanding contribution to our society. Gard Ratna of Uttarakhand and prestigious Sahitya Academy Award recipient, eminent legendary singer, the heart throb of millions in Uttarakhand, metropolises of the country n abroad as well where Uttarakhand is live Narendra Singh Negi and his team will perform at MAHAKAUTHIG including Uttarakhand’s prominent actors in Bollywood etc.
