BJP GETS ROARING VICTORY IN GUJARAT. AAP A GAME SPOILER FOR CONGRESS AND GAINER FOR THE SAFFRON PARTY !
The election results of 182 member assembly of Gujarat has been declared and the seventh time winner in sequence – Bhartiya Janata Party has won on 149 seats with Congress getting merely 16 seats and AAM ADMI Party having won on 5 seats. However, the BJP is leading on seven seats and Congress on one seat. Three independents have won and Samajwadi Party got only one seat. The winning saffron party, forming the government on Monday in the presence of prime minister Narendra Modi and home minister Amit Shah has secured 52.50% votes while Congress got 27.28 % votes with AAP getting 12.92 % votes making absolutely clear that it helped BJP win Gujarat with a thumping majority even bagging 57 seats more that its last time tally of 99 seats in 2017 elections. The Congress party had won 77 seats with then Congress chief Rahul Gandhi campaigning extensively for his party. This time the BJP juggernaut led by prime minister Narendra Modi addressing about 31 back to back rallies and holding good number of well attended road shows including announcing over ambitious developmental projects have yielded outstanding results breaking all previous records. According to political analysts the AAM ADMI Party has proved to be a great spoiler for Congress damaging its traditional vote bank helping BJP gain power in Gujarat with thumping majority. Himachal Pradesh thanked the people of Gujarat. He tweeted : Thank u Gujarat. I am overcome with lot of emotions seeing the phenomenal election results. People blessed politics of development and at the same time expressed a desire that they want this momentum to continue at a greater pace. I bow to Gujarat’s Jana Shakti tweeted PM Narendra Modi.
On the other hand depressed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi while honouring the mandate of the Gujarat electorates tweeted : we cordially accept the mandate of the people of Gujarat. We’ll do hard work through reconstruction and shall continue to wage our struggle for resolving people’s grievances and ethics in future tweeted Rahul Gandhi.
The BJP national chief J. P. Nadda tweeted : It is our record win in Gujarat under PM’s leadership. We got 52.5% vote share. Congress’s voting percentage dropped to 27.3 %. A new party came to insult Gujarat. Our government is coming to power in this, state. He should now apologise to the people tweeted J. P. Nadda. By He he meant Arvind Kejrival. Kindly recall that the BJP has, registered its roaring victory in Gujarat even winning those seats which it had never won before during original Jan Sangh’ s period and when Narendra Modi was the chief minister of the state. Some of these constituencies where BJP scored victory after a long spell are Borsad in Anand district, Jhagadia in Bharuch, Vyara in Tapi, Garbada in David, Manufacturing in Kheda, Anklav in Anand, n Dani Linda in Ahmedabad district of Gujarat.
