The former Uttarakhand CM and veteran Congress leader Harish Rawat today castigated the veteran Congress leader and former J n K CM, former union minister, general secretary, member CWC and leader of hostile G 23 group Ghulam Nabi Azad for ditching and back stabbing the Congress when it needed him the most at this critical juncture. Blaming the former Rajya Sabha MP Ghulam Nabi Azad for insulting lakhs of Congress workers by ditching the Congress Harish Rawat said that this stand of his, is an ill conceived one regarding which he has planned quite before, since the day he wrote a letter being the part of G 23 coterie. He said that this pre strategic plan of Ghulam Nabi Azad is nothing but a plan B to join BJP under different pretexts. He catagorically said that the resignation of party veteran Ghul Nabi Azad will have no implication on the party’s prospects as its crores of workers n leaders at the pan India level have strengthened the party by organising protests demonstrations against skyrocketing inflation and the Bharat Jodo Yatra to be commenced from 7 th August under the leadership of former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi. Criticizing Azad Rawat said that he will repent in his decision one day as he climbed the highest ladder in Congress due to the blessings of Nehru Gandhi family during his protracted association with the party for five decades now reducing himself as an ineffective n opportunist leader of plan B of BJP.
