A 23 year old young boy commits suicide by hanging after losing last chance during Agniveer recruitment tests at Kotdwar, Garhwal

There have been lot of controversies erupting after the launch of the Agniveer Recruitment Scheme for four years in defence Forces of the country, especially in Uttarakhand where the patriotic youths prefer to go in Indian Army in majority. It is usually said that one in every two or three families a youth joins the Indian Army to serve the nation bravely. The history itself is the best reflection of the Bravehearts of Uttarakhand joining Indian Army from the days of the British sacrificing in large numbers in various world wars and getting Victoria Cross to national honours during and after independence till date serving in every wing of Indian defence Forces giving supreme sacrifices for the nation in various wars, fighting terrorists, nation’s enemies and in para military forces as well. There have been lot of controversies two days ago when the physical races were conducted in Kotdwar for recruitment in Indian Army under Agniveer, with lots of infuriated young boys raising anti ruling party slogans, with video going viral in social media. A heartwrenching suicidal death of a young boy after being failed in the Agniveer Recruitment tests has send shock waves in entire Uttarakhand. According to the news, the traumatic parents of the deceased youth while registering their FIR with the revenue police have shockingly revealed that since this was the last attempt of their son, after being unsuccessful he became so dejected that he committed suicide by hanging himself. The dejected young boy of 23 years hailing from Kamand village in Satpuli Tehsil, district Pauri Garhwal committed suicide by hanging after he was turned out during the selection in Kotdwar under Agniveer recruitment scheme.
